"Above-and-beyond customer service!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
My wife and I were in Baltimore for Valentine's Weekend and stayed at Mount Vernon that Friday night. Nice, clean room; comfy bed; cool location. The best part came after the stay... I had arranged between the hotel and a local florist to have a bouquet of flowers waiting in the room upon our arrival. Unfortunately, the task wasn't completed - hotel had no flowers and florist was closed for the weekend. Sunday, I get a call from the hotel that the flowers were accidentally placed in the wrong room. Monday, we swung back through to get the flowers and were surprised with a full refund on our room and parking! Above-and-beyond customer service - would recommend!

"Perfect location for Homewood campus"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
We have a student on the Homewood campus across the street from the hotel and the location could not have been more convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean. One was warm but the other one was rather cold despite the noisy heating system. Overall a very good experience. We'll be back whenever we are visiting Johns Hopkins. The underground parking garage is very convenient also but note that it costs an extra $20 per day.

"Good Option North of Downtown"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 16, 2013
Very clean and well-run, though slightly run down. Reasonably priced. The hotel is undergoing renovation so should be much nicer in another 6 mos. This building is tucked into the back of the Cross Keys shopping center and right next to the freeway (I-83)--a little hard to find unless you call for directions. Good service, though they close the bar at 11:00 p.m.--not something I expected in a city the size of Baltimore. Front desk was accommodating in providing me with alternate places to go for a drink. Restaurant was very good for lunch the next day.
