  The hotel was very clean. Upon our arrival we asked for an upgrade and were given one free of charge. It is within minutes to the national harbor in Maryland and close to the shops and eateries of the Crystal Drive area. It is about 20 minutes to DC

  We booked late for a competition at the Gaylord Convention Center. This hotel was in a beautiful, historic area. The surroundings were safe. MANY places to eat and shop. The staff was accommodating and helpful. I would stay again in a second.

  The hotel posted reasonable rates online. Staff members were cordial and nice. Staff offered assistance in making the stay comfortable and friendly. Room was very clean and furniture in very good condition. Location suited nearby restaurants and retailers for ease of shopping and quick dining.

  Everything was fine. The hotel is a little worn out but overall everything worked and the room was clean.

  We spent three nights (Friday, Sat., Sun.) there as our central spot to visit DC and Old Town Alexandria. This hotel was awesome. Our biggest and maybe only complaint was the pool. NASTY. We took the kids there two of the three nights and it was FULL of things floating in it (hair, other things, dirt). Other than the pool, the hotel is great. We did notice a different crowd during the weekend and during the week.
