  It was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel but our room smelled like cigarette smoke immediately upon opening the door. Beds were comfortable and location was terrific.

  I was there for the LSU Career Fair. Since I'm not familiar with Baton Rouge, it was important to stay someplace close to the university. The hotel was only minutes away from LSU. It was clean; all of the staff were extremely polite. I had no complaints whatsoever. A nice lagniappe was that right next door there is an Outback restaurant; actually within walking distance. The staff were extremely polite, and Gayla, the desk clerk, was absolutely precious. Over all, I give it five stars across the board.

  The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The double queen was spacious and clean. We stayed in the main building and the kids loved the glass elevator and indoor/outdoor pool. It is convenient to I-12 so you can be anywhere in the city within 10 minutes. There is a Wow Wingery restaurant now in the hotel, however we did not eat in the hotel.

  Loved the staff. I would not stay there again on a Friday night if I knew a sport teams were coming in. They were well-behaved, but made it very difficult to enjoy breakfast and begin the day peacefully.Water in the swimming pool is too cold.
