Staff was perfect. Hotel is in the heart of Sarasota within the immediate proximity of Siesta Key. We were on vacation, but didn't want to spend a fortune on beach front. This hotel is comfortable, convenient and clean. Perfect alternative to overpriced upscale hotels. And use your savings to go have fun on your vacation.

Stayed here awaiting the birth of our grandson and the short walk to the hospital was very accommodating since I needed to be to go back and forth to the hotel to carry on my internet business. More electric outlets and a comfortable desk chair at the table would have been welcome. The cleaning staff was very cheerful and helpful. I would stay here again under the same circumstance and bring a powerbar to accommodate the electronics.

This hotel is customized toward the business traveler but serves as an adequate stay-over for families as well. Not designed as a vacation hotel but is clean, comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff was great! They were very accomodating and let us check in early with no hassle. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only condition I can note on here is that the bathrooms need some work. The grout needs to be re-done in the showers, and the tile on the walls of the shower needs to be replaced, it was obviously removed for a plumbing issue at some point and put back up, but was caving in. Regardless, we would gladly stay here again! It's very easy access to great places to eat.

We stayed in room 403, which was apparently one of the nicer rooms on the property. It had a private balcony facing the water, and a small kitchenette. The room was clean and well-appointed - almost surprisingly so, to be honest. It appeared that, even though the hotel itself isn't new, the owners have done a good job keeping it clean and updated. Breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed the tiki bar by the marina. Free wifi. For the price, the view, and the convenience to the airport, I don't think you can beat this place.

It's a grand older property that has been brought up to date with beautiful decorations,carpets, curtain treatments, furniture, wall colors, and pictures. The staff were wonderful and ready to answer any questions that were asked. The location is right across the street from the beach. Beach chairs are provided on a first come, first serve basis.Food was good and the top floor dining room gave a gorgeous view of the water and beach.The bathroom we had was a bit outdated but clean.It would not take too much effort to bring them up to date. The laundry room was a little hard to find and stuck in a small room but the washers and driers were newer and quite serviceable. One can walk to St. Armands Circle with all the restaurants and stores.Or drive across the bridge into Sarasota and all that it has to offer.. We will return again.
