"Location, location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
Great location for dining out and catching a show at a local theater. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Room was a bit noisy within the hotel. Description said heated bathroom floors but ours wasn't or we couldn't figure out how to turn it on. Shower was luke warm at best and low pressure. Thermostat was unresponsive, but room was not cold. We could do without the feather beds - too squishy. All in all though a great location and comfortable enough amenities for a short stay.
"weekend downtown"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
The hotel lobby is beautiful. We had drinks in the evening and really enjoyed the ambiance, though be prepared for the high prices. The rooms are very comfortable with a tub and rain shower. We would stay there again.

I was surprised there was not a mini bar in the room. Also, i did not request it but we were given a handicap accessible room which meant most of the room was set for a wheel chair bound guest, we made do. Other than that our stay was very nice.

"Great Place, but parking is scarce"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
We enjoyed our stay at the Alfot. The only issue I had was we had to pay an additional 15 dollars for access to the parking ramp across the street.

"Great all-around stay."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
I stay at Ramada Plaza-MPLS a lot, like 4-8 nights a month. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are comfortable and a great value. One of the best workout rooms in a hotel I have seen. Comfortable pool area. Relatively quiet. However, the best thing about it is the location. It's in a quiet, safe, mostly industrial neighborhood, but hop on the highway, which is literally 100 yards away, and you're downtown in under 10 minutes. Best possible value in the Twin Cities.
