"Service was amazing!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We forgot our Twins tickets and another guest in the business center wasn't very good at sharing, so we were all panicked not knowing how we were going to print our tickets. We ran down to the front desk and they took care of us! They were also able to give some amazing suggestions for places to eat and drink AND even threw in a few drink tickets! How sweet is that?!
"A good value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Friends in the Cities tell me this used to be something of a dive, but it has come back, and is now something approaching a boutique hotel. A 15 minute walk from the convention center, about 4 blocks from Nicollet Mall in one direction, and 4 blocks to the light rail in another, it's a little off the beaten path but still close enough to be very convenient -- and a good deal cheaper than the big brand hotels. The breakfasts are huge and delicious, and the service friendly and quite fast. Reception is friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms are clean and well-kept. Elevator is very fast -- hardly a wait. Skyway access is across the street. Gated parking. Warm chocolate chip cookies every night. What more could you want? ;-)

"Satisfied"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
We were very happy with the hotel. We loved the atmospher of the idea of the trains and the train station for the breakfas area. The rooms were very nice and clean. But there still was the smell of when everyone use to smoke in the hotels, but that is to be expected in some places.
"Service, breakfast, and convenience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The BEST things were the free wifi (so nice) and the amazing breakfast! Fresh eggs, bacon, and a pancake maker? Whoa nelly what a great way to start off the day! The convenient location and friendly staff at the Holiday Inn Express made our stay very satisfactory. The staff went out of our way to help us find local destinations and help us in any way they can. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone attending a conference in Minneapolis.
