Read a couple of reviews and was hesitant. But after much consideration I wanted to see for myself. Loved the location. Staff was very warm and friendly. Room was very nice and clean. Checked in on a friday afternoon and everything was great. Saturday morning I went to the morning breakfast and it was pretty good. Need to have a few more items such as hash browns and sausage patties. The bacon was obviously microwaveable. But all in all it was pretty good. Now the downside. After breakfast it was time to hit the town. Went to take a shower and there was NO HOT WATER. With the temp that morning in the 40's. Come back later that afternnon to get ready for a night on the town and guess what? NO HOT WATER...STILL. By this time the maintenance was already gone for the day. Next morning, water was working but after the fact. Gotta love Febreze. Management suggested I contact the company I booked the room from. Contacted Hotel.com and a $100 voucher has been sent for a future hotel stay. Despite the water issue I will go back to this hotel.

Hotel Manager was great!! I arrived quite late, and am disabled. (Hotels.com hadn't bothered to inform them of my need for a 1st floor room close to handicap parking.) He closed the office and helped me unload my car and take all my luggage to my room which was at the far end of the motel, and on the 2nd floor. Thank goodness they had an elevator. He also offered to get me a more accessible room the next day, as they were full by the time I got there. The room had a couple problems which were quickly addressed by the staff the next morning. I liked having a separate closet for my belongings. Decent place for the price.

Everything was great, except for the constant walking back n forth all night of the people in the room above me. Of course, this wasn't the hotel's fault... it was the inconsiderate fools above me. I will be staying here each time I need to visit our Houston office.

Good clean room, did not stay for breakfast. There was some probema with the door keys.
