We read the reviews of previous patrons and were stupified at the disparaging reviews. First of all, this isn't a five star hotel nor is it sold as such. Our room was clean and spotless. Towels were white and clean without stains, odors,etc..The bathroom was clean, coffee available in room, the front desk area was clean. Staff were polite and helpful. Everything was as it should be. The bed was very comfortable and the heat worked perfectly keeping us warm throughout the snowy night. The pool area was clean and neatly arranged and the water warm and clear. The amenities were appropriate for the level of accommodation we paid for. Virtually spotless and odorless. We were very pleased. You get my picky thumbs up, well done, excellent.

The hotel was located in a very nice area. We were about a 5 minute drive away from downtown and right across the road from the beach. Although we went in the winter the view was still spectacular and the drive to downtown was quick and easy.

Rooms were a little older, but booked at last minute and the price was very good for the loaction. Restaraunt and happy hour were great. Service was outstanding.

We chose this hotel in Traverse City because of it's location, price, and reviews from others. It did not disappoint. Very comfortable beds and pillows, good location, and great price. My only comment would be that we were on the 1st floor, and water running upstairs, or children running upstairs was noisy in our room. But....it did not disturb us at all during the night!

I was very pleased with my stay at the Traverse City Travelodge....the condition of the hotel seemed very up to date, it was very clean and nice, I had a refrigerator , microwave, king sized bed, desk, two chairs, tv, nice bathroom, and I really felt it was a great deal for what it cost for the night....it was a two star hotel that was well worth it and I would stay there again and I recommend it for anyone that requires a basic well kept room to base in Traverse City

The ocean view of West Traverse Bay was beautiful from our 3rd floor room. Breakfast that was included with the room was great. The staff was friendly. The only negative for my family staying during the mid-week is that the room felt dusty.
