  I picked this place because it was the cheapest in the area listed on hotels.com. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience - I could have spent a lot more money without having significantly better lodging. It was quiet, the staff was pleasant and competent, the room was clean, roomy and well maintained, the free breakfast had plenty of variety and was fine. The hotel is set back from the freeway by about a block, so despite my room having a window facing the freeway I didn't notice any road noise. The location was good and there are a couple of decent restaurants with a block's walk (a Fuddruckers and an Indian place). I would definitely stay there again if I had need for lodging in the area.

  This is the second time we've stayed at the Southfork Hotel. The service is always great, but more importantly, the room is extraordinarily comfy! The hotel is also conveniently located right off 75N in Plano, near lots of shopping and historic downtown Plano with its great shops and eateries.
