"Inexpensive and free breakfast"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
This hotel was fine for what I needed. I was in town for business. I basically needed a place to sleep and shower. I didn't check out the pool or weight room. I have stayed twice in the last two weeks and will stay again. The free breakfast is a plus, just don't expect to find many healthy food choices.

clean, an excellent value
"Surprisingly comfortable"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
We were in Springfield for a sports tournament and spent 3 nights at the hotel. Although certainly not the newest nor most luxurious hotel around, it was very quiet, clean, had the correct amount of amenities and everything that needed to work, worked well (plumbing, lights, heater, etc.). The wireless setup was kind of offbeat, but to be expected since the corridors are all exterior and there's no central spot for a single access point. It was certainly fast enough. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Staff was great and I would certainly re-book if I were ever in the area again.

It's minutes from downtown and a great value for the money. Had a fridge and microwave that wasn't listed on the site. Would definitely stay there again!
"Wish I had stayed here before"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 18, 2013
Very good check in experience. I asked the clerk for a room on the first floor so I can take my dog out a little easier. The gentleman was more than happy to get me a first room floor and he went the extra mile to put me next to an outside door to make it even easier. I really appreciated that because he didn't have to do that! Hotel is very quiet and we enjoyed the continental. There was juice and coffee, toast, bagels, yogurt, fruit and cereal. My only complaint is with Hotels.com for not letting me know during booking that there's a very small charge for my dog but it wasn't enough to even be annoying; I just would have liked to have known. The room is a lot roomier than I expected and just a very comfortable room overall.
