Boston is one of the USA’s oldest cities. Also known as The Walking City, its famous freedom trail lets you travel on foot to well-known sites. Summer and Fall are popular seasons to book a hotel in Boston. Temperatures average around 65°F but can reach highs of 80°F in the warmest months, July and August.

How to get to Boston

The largest international and domestic airport in the city is Logan International Airport (BOS), where you can catch a bus service to South Station, Boston’s largest train station with services to major cities, including New York and Chicago, or take a water shuttle to hotels in downtown Boston. You can also take a taxi or the subway to other hotel areas. The Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is 50 miles south of the city. You can travel to Boston via an hourly shuttle bus that takes around 75 minutes.

Things to do in Boston

There’s plenty to see and do in Boston. The city has one of the oldest major league baseball stadiums, Fenway Park, the home of the Red Sox. If you’re heading to the city to watch a game, there are lots of places to stay near Fenway Park, including cheap hotels. Alternately you could visit the Boston Aquarium or go on one of the Boston duck tours. Boston was the cradle of the American Revolution and major sites and landmarks include Paul Revere’s House, the Bunker Hill Monument, and the Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum.

Room was small (didn't have a desk) and the shower head placement could be adjusted to accomodate shorter guests more comfortably. Otherwise, clean, comfortable, affordable and convenient for a convention visit. I would stay here again.

The Omni Parker House is a beautiful hotel right at the heart of Boston. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and unique. However, the food offered for room service was merely serviceable; definitely not what I expected from what may be the most famous hotel in Boston. That being said, the staff was extremely warm and gracious.

We had stayed about 7 years ago. May have been a Hilton. Liked things much better this time. Very clean room. Happy to take a bath. The pool was cleaner as was the entire gym area and locker rooms. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Got a great rate by paying in advance. Would do it again. The neighborhood is very much improved. Lots of foot traffic at night. Great easy to walk to restaurants for family dining. China town is only 2 blocks away.
