Wifi was fast, room as in the pictures, modern and stylish. Pleasant ambiance and a safe neighborhood. Friendly, helpful staff. Underground and street parking, but street parking is notfor daytime, so you need to call ahead if you will need underground parking. Breakfast had a variety of fruits, drinks, deli meats, breads, yogurts, cereals, coffee, and different sweet spongecakes.
Safe in room is not laptop size (not even macbook air) despite what is listed in the description.
Would definitely stay again.
"Overall good value but the area not recommended"

The AK Design hotel has recently been totally remodeled. It is located in a rather shady area which is not recommended for evening or night walks. Additionally, it is located in the old part of the city which does not have much to offer when it comes to a selection of restaurants or evening clubs. That being said, the rooms have a very modern décor with nice finishes. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff was very friendly and spoke English well which was helpful. They did not hesitate to help with any bookings or recommendations. On the final note, the service we used to book it (through hotels) did not forward our reservation to the hotel so I am giving 0 stars rating to the booking provider for unreliable service. 4 stars for the hotel.
"Close to centro downtown,...needs some updating"

the hotel is convenient if you have business in the centro area. Nice views of the river. However, a little rundown. I stayed in the gym as I had a late flight, so I had a nice workout, but then when I needed to shower there was no warm water at all, so I had to take a cold shower.
