This motel is very basic. It's set on a busy street, right in front of a market, so there is noise all day. It;s definitely only for transit with the airport being a 5 minute car ride away. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The room itself was tiny, but the bed was big and there was air conditioning and a ceiling fan, so the heat and humidity never attacked me. The restaurant is basic, but the staff there was really nice and helpful, and the cook even wrote me a list of basic Swahili words to learn. For a one night stay, with no trips into town, it's worth the time and price.

The rooms are spacious and clean,breakfast was good.There are a few stores in the plaza where the hotel is located. The hotel was about 500m to the bus station so it is convenient if you plan a trip by bus. It is a bit far from the center and you need a cab to go to the ferry terminal. It is not a cheap hotel but the proximity to the bus terminal was why I chose to stay there for one night.
