The sprawling Shopping Mueller center has department stores and international brands, all under a glass roof, with automatic walkways to help you get around the huge complex. The Oscar Niemeyer Museum is also housed in an ultra-modern, eye catching oval shaped building, and once inside you can see how the curves of the space allow for modern, spacious galleries where the impressive modern art can really stand out. At the center of the Botanical Garden of Curitiba you’ll find an imposing atrium with multiple domes and dozens of rare floral species inside. How to get to Curitiba

Afonso Pena International Airport welcomes flights from across South America, and is based in a convenient location in the southeast of the city. From here it’s a half hour drive into the city center, so you can either pick up a rental car or book a taxi to take you downtown. There are also regular buses to the city center and surrounding areas, with these transfers taking about an hour. Curitiba Station is a hub for both trains and interstate buses, with easy connections across Brazil and beyond from a convenient downtown location.
