"Easy quick stay for airport overnights in BKK"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 15, 2013
The hotel isn't a 5 star resort by any means, but if you just need somewhere to crash for a few hours because of an overnight stay in Bangkok, the shuttle is good to/from the airport (runs hourly on the 30s from the hotel (eg 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, etc). Just go tell the workers in front of door 4 at the airport that you stayed there (and book a room that comes with transfer) and they will call the shuttle to pick you up from the airport.
"Nicest staff ever!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 30, 2013
The room is basic, with everything we needed, but not gorgeous. We chose it for its perfect location right by a BTS station. You do need to be able to do stairs for both the BTS and Padi Madi. The staff were so helpful and kind in finding us a cab and talking them into taking us where they didn't really want to go (too much traffic) as well as helping us with destinations and bookings. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

"Cute Hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
I was very impressed with Sakul House, the rooms were modern and clean with plenty of light. If you are looking for a nice hotel in the middle of the action near Khao San Road, definitely stay there. But if you are looking for a quiet place to stay in Bangkok, this isn't your place. Street music went until after midnight and even with windows closed, you could hear it.

"nice for the money"Reviewed by Danny N of "Fulton, MO" on Apr 26, 2011
Go out the back entrance and there is a local market with local fruits and veggies to try. Out the front entrance (through the new addition) and there are some places to shop. Don't eat the soup out the front, across the street, and to the left they use local water and don't heat it well. The food in the hotel is over priced, but is good. The travel guy in the lobby became upset when I booked something through another travel shop. He got really upset and glared at me the rest of my time there. Bangkok overall is really peaceful, enjoy. Don't trust the Took Took drivers, they will trick you into going to expensive places so they can make some extra cash. Tell them you where you want to go and nowhere else.
"One of the best hotel I ever had is Citin Pratunam"Reviewed by M Masters of "Mauritius" on Sep 16, 2009
I stayed in Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa located on the seafront in Jersey's capital in May 2002 and in Grand Hotel Excelsior is located in Valletta, Malta in February 2009. Citin Pratunam is close to the standard. The personal touch is just wonderful. The complementary tea and free internet access made my holiday dream come true.
