Have seen most of the beaches in Phuket. I can strongly recommend Bang Tao beach together with Sunwing resort for family Holliday. Sunwing resort is only for families with kids but they are doing it fantastic.

We have stayed two night in this hotel in superior delux room and stay was excellent. This resort is perfect for complete relax and kids enjoye 100%. Very good and modernized kids club having lots of activities for all ages of kids.Dont miss it.

Very nice clean hotel with gorgeous pools, wonderful breakfast. It's a good idea to include breakfast. Rooms are beautiful.

Really enjoyed our stay here - clean rooms, good buffet breakfast (apart from birds flying in/out of dining area). Staff were generally OK - some of the dining room staff weren't very helpful/friendly. Free Internet in the lobby was slow and intermittent at times. Lovely large pool, kept very clean. No real complaints and would stay here again. The beach isn't great - wouldn't recommend staying here if you want a lovely beach. It's dirty and worn out buildings. Some renovations at this hotel also going on. Location is OK, but without your own transport, it's not the most convenient. (We hired a car, so it was no problem). A supermarket (Tesco Lotus) is 1.5km away, with other shops and restaurants also in the area. Local taxis are always waiting outside the hotel eager for business! Tour desk at hotel arranged day tour for us which worked fine. Good range of cable TV channels in the room.

We were very nervous as we read some poor reviews. I think perhaps people are not used to staying in Thailand, or were expecting something different. We had a fabulous stay. The staff was very pleasant and helpful (they even upgraded our room without us asking). The grounds are spread out, but we had no problems getting the golf cart to take us back and forth. I think we walked twice from our room near the Front Desk to the Breakfast Hall and it takes about 10min. Its not a big deal. The Water Park is free. The Breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever had. A lot of variety, and very very delicious food. Two pools (with nice shaded sitting 'rooms'), Kids Club, Water Park. If you have a family its incredible.

The biggest issue was checking in because the only person working that night didn't speak a word of English. The room was basic but okay for the price. It is quite expensive to get here by taxi and to go anywhere from the resort.

Would recommend to ANYONE. This resort has it all and is in the most beautiful location. The villas are exactly as they appear on line - gorgeous, lush and huge! The staff is super attentive and helpful. The villas itself sell this property - the rooms were impeccable and the pool and surrounding areas were the most beautiful I have ever seen in a resort. Would recommend this to anyone. The only negative is that this resort is a ways away from the lively action of Phuket - so if you are looking to "get away" than this resort is it! If you want the action of a city, then I would stay elsewhere - this was calm and relaxing area of town.
