"close to beach"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
Great location to the beach, but hard to find the hotel when we were driving. The bar staff were very friendly and nice. The pool and massage services were convenient and one of the best parts of the hotel. We also appreciated the free wi-fi.

"Very nice area and short walk to centre"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
A very nice hotel although there is a lot of variation in room types. we were not happy to be given a room with no balcony but were moved when we complained. some of the rooms need updating but are still comfy and clean. the pool area is lovely with plenty of beds and umbrellas. the breakfasts were very good , the beach is very close and all in all a very pleasant hotel.
"Upscale hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
We stayed here for 4 nights in January 2013. 3 girls shared a spacious room with a king bed. We especially enjoyed the balcony views (we were on the 4th floor), and the hotel rooftop pool, which was very well maintained. We were able to book all our excursions through the front desk and found the staff there to be very friendly and knowledgeable. The only negative about the hotel is that it only had 1 elevator for all 8 floors, so the elevator was very slow and packed. The elevator can only be operated with a room key, which is great for security, but not so great if you split up from your roommates and find yourself locked out. The location of the hotel may be ideal or too loud depending on your preference. It is located directly across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe, so you will hear the live band loud and clear until 11pm every night. It is also located in the middle of all the touristy restaurants & bars. The hotel is walking distance (about 10 minutes) from the main beach, which we found to be very crowded with murky water. If you are looking for amazing beaches, you probably want to look elsewhere on the island. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the hotel itself was clean and modern, but next time we will probably stay somewhere else on the island or maybe on another island.
"A small Oasis in the Patong madness."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 2, 2012
This place is a small little 3 star, a little tough to find. If you give the address to your mini-van driver from the airport, no problems. The room we got had a crummy air conditioner, but they immediately moved us to a better, larger room at once. Maria at the front desk was a doll, and we chatted with her and got got great tips on the area. Patong is a frat house wonderland, not the greatest place to stay unless you like to party. It has become an over-priced, annoying tourist trap in general. BUT, we used as a base, rented a great scooter from the hotel for 10 bucks a day, and cruised to Karon Beach to the South, which is a bit quieter, and also to Laem Sing beach to the North, past Kamala town. THAT beach is the best in Phuket, and once you find it, you will be glad you hassled the hike down to this private cove. Shhhhh its a secret! Anyhow, this is a 3 star hotel, which means the shower has no enclosure in the bathroom, only one room key per couple and no room service, but its a good value in this wacky tourist trap town.
"Got off to a rough start but got better"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 27, 2012
When we checked in the front desk asked me to email him my reservation?! I thought that was strange. then we get to our room at about 1am and the lights dont work. they send a guy up and he is working on it for half an hour no luck. we ask him to leave because all we want to do is go to sleep. dont need lights now. unfortunately, our room was right on the street across from a hotel being built. so all night we heard construction. the garbage truck came at 330am to pick up cans with glass bottles in them! then at about 6am some clown kept banging on another door in the hallway yelling for the person inside to answer. bad first night. second night got buzzed so slept fine. they have a really nice rooftop pool and their thai massage spa is really good! went twice. they are very affordable. i recommend spending time at the pool and use the massage services. but only book this hotel if you get it dirt cheap. try to ask for a room away from the street!
"Suited our needs perfectly!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 25, 2012
Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but could have spent more time at this hotel. We used Patong as a stopover before heading to Phi Phi and wanted to get a taste of the Phuket party scene. Despite a noisy street, we found the room to be completely quiet. The rooms are modestly decorated and exceptionally clean- spotless actually. Staff was helpful in directing us around. This hotel is conveniently located to bars, clubs restaurants and only a few blocks off the beach. Patong itself is as insane as described in the travel guides, but worth seeing for a bit if your liver can handle it. If we ever journey back, we would definately seek out the Alblum Hotel. Great value.

"Very Pleasent Space and Great staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 9, 2012
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was both friendly and helpful. The location is good - 10 minutes walk to beach or main nightlife area. The room was spacious and photos were accurate. The WiFi signal in room was strong and worked well for me (a heavy Internet user). My only downside was the thinness of the walls - there was a lot of noise when the party crowd came in late at night. Still, for the area, a very good value. I will definitely stay here again!
