I have a 70% travel schedule for buisness. Although this was not a buisness trip, this was one of the first times I was suprised that the accomidations were actually much nicer than advertised! The staff, the room, the free perks and the fact that EVERY room faces the sea, made for a very magicial and relaxing respite.

Is an excellent hotel with a beatiful private beach, wonderful pools and very good attention. The onlu drawback is that it is a little far from other places, shopping or sight seeing.
"Nice hotel, just out of the way"Reviewed by Suzanne R of "San Diego,CA" on Dec 30, 2011
We stayed here over Christmas and really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was lovely and did a nice job of putting on an xmas celebration (although there was a mandatory xmas eve dinner gala fee which was very expensive, even though it included the free drinks and dinner). As is expected for a nice hotel, their food and drink is also pricey (although across the street from the hotel is a really tasty, reasonably priced Thai restaurant and a mini market where you can buy sodas or beers for your hotel fridge and snacks and what not, which is how we managed costs a bit). Only downsides for us were that 1) hotel is a bit out of the way, if you're looking to do things outside of the hotel grounds. Its an expensive cab ride to get to the busier beaches and/or shopping (free shuttle to Phuket Town is nice but Phuket town isn't the nicest place to visit) and most of the tours charge extra to come pick you up if you're this out of the way. Second downside was that there isn't really a beach to lounge on. We ended up spending most of our time at the hotel pool area, which was great but not the beach experience we had planned. All in all though - great staff, beautiful grounds, clean rooms and a lovely, quiet location if you want a nice place to relax within a hotel environment.

Great place for relaxation, serenity, sun & sand and spa. Excellent Thai restaurant on property. Away from the crowds of Patong Beach but only a 20 minute drive away or a US $ 10.00 cab ride. Staff very polite and service excellent.
