"Great hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 18, 2012
We only stayed a night, but wish we could have stayed longer. Fresh flowers in room. Awesome location. Very cool bathroom. Loved the balcony! Perfect location. Friendly staff. All around winner!

"Fantastic pools, grounds"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 29, 2012
I stayed at the hotel for 5 days with family and friends, and was overall pleased with the hotel. The best thing is that every room is pool access 24 hours. They are like long canals that connect to a few bigger pools (those are open until 8pm to guests). So if you like relaxing near or in the pool, swimming, etc then this is a great hotel for you. Breakfast is a buffet and it is great, with a variety of nice foods that change every day. The regular restaurant is also very nice. The rooms are clean and pretty, and the hotel grounds are very beautiful. The only negative points are the location and speed of service. It often took quite a while to get your order at the restaurant, and while it did not bother me as i wasn't in a rush, i sense it could annoy some people. The other problem was it was quite a bit from the beach. Probably a 15-20 min walk for the average person. The hotel ran a beach drop off service but it was only twice a day and only to the beach, not back. On saying this, the hotel grounds, room, and pools more than make up for this but if you are big on being next to the beach, then maybe this hotel won't be for you. The beach at karon is also better and cleaner than the one in patong, which is another bonus. The nightlife is also less lively than in patong, which can be good or bad depending on what you want. Overall though I was extremely pleased with the hotel and would definitely go back, as the few negatives pale to the positives here.
"nice quiet hotel"Reviewed by phet of "California" on Jan 29, 2012
It was a nice, clean and small hotel. Too bad it located on the hills and most taxi don't like to drive up to the hotel. I staysed there with my parents and I paid for the extra bed and person charge. They did brought the roll away bed with sheets and made it up but they didn't give me extra blanket. With the AC on all night, it can get cold. There is no housekeeping coming to make our bed n clean up during our stay of 3 nights. The condo can get dusty easily due to the condition of the enviroment around the hotel. Lastly, the bathroom got smelly after not being clean for 3 days. If there were housekeeping to come in to do daily clean up, it would have been a great stayed.
"Nice hotel, just out of the way"Reviewed by Suzanne R of "San Diego,CA" on Dec 30, 2011
We stayed here over Christmas and really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was lovely and did a nice job of putting on an xmas celebration (although there was a mandatory xmas eve dinner gala fee which was very expensive, even though it included the free drinks and dinner). As is expected for a nice hotel, their food and drink is also pricey (although across the street from the hotel is a really tasty, reasonably priced Thai restaurant and a mini market where you can buy sodas or beers for your hotel fridge and snacks and what not, which is how we managed costs a bit). Only downsides for us were that 1) hotel is a bit out of the way, if you're looking to do things outside of the hotel grounds. Its an expensive cab ride to get to the busier beaches and/or shopping (free shuttle to Phuket Town is nice but Phuket town isn't the nicest place to visit) and most of the tours charge extra to come pick you up if you're this out of the way. Second downside was that there isn't really a beach to lounge on. We ended up spending most of our time at the hotel pool area, which was great but not the beach experience we had planned. All in all though - great staff, beautiful grounds, clean rooms and a lovely, quiet location if you want a nice place to relax within a hotel environment.
