This hotel is in a great location! You can walk to all of the restaurants and shops, and they have their own chairs right on the beach designated for only the guests staying there. The sand is white and the water is turquoise, it is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen!! If you don't like the sand then their pool is right next to the beach and very clean. The breakfast buffet was just ok but the restaurant staff was so friendly it made the morning. They gave you 2 free water bottles everyday and had a helpful desk that set up activities for you. it was a great experience

Close to all action such as the Ark Bar Green Mango the Sound club and great place of shisha infront of the hotel
The hotel also at night have a great seated area at the beach night time
The only bad thing is the Airplans landing and take off which had lots of noise but nothing between 12 midnight tell 8 am
"big rooms, nice staff but read on"

The rooms were big plus it had a nice balcony but we had a problem with the hot water everyday and night. The hotel was clean for the most part but needed some TLC. Location is 1 mile or so from main road but no a big deal. I liked this because near the Islands main road very noisy .This hotel sits on a hill and is quite ,I liked that part .Good value for the money I would stay again if they would fix hot water and improvements on maintenance. "On the beach without breaking the bank"

Room was clean and comfortable. I slept well. Staff was very helpful. Water was fine for swimming (although it was cloudy). Bar/restaurant is a great place to sit and enjoy the roar of the ocean. Nice atmosphere. Short walk into town. Very convenient. I took songthaew between ferry and hotel (60 baht) and had no problem. Swimming pool is well-maintained.
"1 night stay before heading to another island"

I needed a room for 1 night as I was catching a ferry to Ko Phangnan the next morning. I was very pleased with my choice. I opted for eating at nearby restaurants as the hotel restaurant was a bit westernized in options and prices. The rooms were small, but nice. I heard 1 woman complain because there were no drawers in her room, but that seemed like a funny thing to complain about to me.
"Stunning Views, Great Service, Up on a Hill"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 5, 2014
Long story short, they messed up our reservation, but we still had a room, and the hotel WOWed us with their service to make up for it. This included them giving us a free dinner amongst other things, so we were quite happy. Then, sadly disappointed that it was one of the worst meals I have ever had in my life. So, skip the restaurant. Other than that, enjoy the views. Just be prepared to take a hike up hills. If you are looking for a getaway, this is the place. Did not have a chance to explore the area.

We enjoyed the wonderful layout with a gorgeous view, good food, and a great staff! The room style we had originally booked was unavailable and they immediately upgraded us to a higher level room. The constant friendly greetings and personal touches made all the difference. Every staff member was always making sure you were enjoying your stay, but was not overbearing. The location was great for a relaxing stay, with the party atmosphere not too far off (if one wants to partake), but far enough away to never be a distraction. The food offerings were tasty and they are plenty of nearby restaurants (walking distance/good caliber) if you want to try something else. The beach was clean and the resort premises patrolled 24 hours, so no vendors bothered you on property (the ones in public areas are kind anyways).
