"Great place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 7, 2013
We were very pleased with the Chaweng. It is a beautiful property. The staff were polite and helpful. Great breakfast. Fun beach. 2 beautiful pools. Our room was a bit of let down from the pictures on line. We were given rooms toward the front of the hotel near the lobby. They were in the only building that didn't have a nice view of something (garden, pool, or beach). The room didn't look nearly as beautiful as the pictures. That said it was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
"The spot for relaxation."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 6, 2013
I had a wonderful stay at Code. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to accommodate. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. If you are looking to relax on a vacation and want some privacy, this is the place to stay. Note that it is not a location that you can walk around from. The hotel is situated way off from the main road. The hotel provides complimentary transport to the beach at certain times of the day and will pick you up at off hours for a small fee.
"Fairview - nice place on Ko Samui"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 1, 2013
The hotel is away from the crowded beaches, which is nice. It has it's own private beach and a pool, so if you're just looking to relax it's a great choice. The only downside of being removed from the crowds is that it is also removed from restaurants, shops, and other things to do. The hotel does have a shuttle service, but you have to reserve your seat in advance and the shuttle only runs at specific times (it is not all day). The hotel food was decent, but overpriced for Thailand. I didn't find it to be as impressive as the reviews I'd read on TripAdvisor indicated. Instead of eating the hotel food, take a 10 minute bike ride up the road and find a place to eat there. There still aren't a lot of options on the road, but you'll get a similar meal for 1/2 the price.
"secluded but great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 21, 2013
We had a great time at Sunset Beach Resort. The service is exceptional compared to other resorts in Koh Samui. The breakfast is the best part of the resort. The only downside is that the rooms need some new sheets and the jacuzzi had leaves falling into it. Overall it was a great location.
"Beautiful and Quiet Place to Relax for a Few Days"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 7, 2013
This hotel is perfect if you would like to relax and enjoy a few days off. While the location is not very central, a local town and beach is only about 1-2 km walk away, which is just about right if relaxation is the purpose of your trip. A rental car or motorbike is recommended if you plan to stay long and travel around. The hotel is only about a year old, and as such it's very nice and new. Our room was quite large, with a big balcony offering a great view overlooking the ocean since this hotel is on top of a hill. As we were on the ground floor, it was also just a five meter walk to the amazing infinity pool. We had a nice big couch to stretch out on, and in the bathroom there's a fancy rain shower next to your personal jaczzi! Check out the two 360 pictures I've uploaded! While the breakfast buffet was somewhat limited, I really loved the made-to-order omelette with cheese, ham, and bacon :) Unfortunately, we managed to leave one of our cell phones in the taxi who took us to the ferry terminal. However, the hotel manager helped recover the phone, and shipped it back to us in Bangkok with tracking within two days. We'll definitely consider staying here again if we go back to Samui.
"relaxing spot"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 6, 2013
the tour desk was not very helpful, but the hotel staff was incredibly nice and ready to assist. It's kind of a in asecluded area, so getting around ko samui can get expensive via taxi, but if you want to stay at the hotel, it's great. Beach access is a little tricky.
"Better Than Rated"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 30, 2012
This hotel is surprisingly underrated. Exceedingly green (a lot of foliage) with three exceptional swimming pools, fitness center, good wireless internet, and beach front with free kayaks. What's not to love? It's a bit of a haul to Chewang/Lamai from here so the nightlife costs an extra 200B each way for cabs.
"Good Value; good staff; good location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 25, 2012

"Great Place to Stay in Mae Nam, Koh Samui"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 30, 2012
My Fiancé and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it, the rooms are really great and we loved the outdoor shower and bathtub (it's a separate area so it's not like you are showering in the open and people can see you, it's completely private). The only part we were not happy with is that we asked for Boxed Breakfast for the day we were leaving as we had to leave before the restaurant was open but we never got our breakfast (which was valued at $30 for 2 people based on the reservation made), we asked the restaurant directly for this the night before at dinner and the waiter said 2 times that he would make sure to have it at the front desk... well I guess he forgot which was not ok as we had planned to have something to eat and it was included in the price so we should have received $30 off for that last night. Other than this it was a great experience and worth it to stay here (just make sure that if you leave before 7:00am that you tell the front desk to make sure to have breakfast for you).
"Great stay in Thailand standard."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 19, 2012
It was very nice, the picture dident lie. Everyting vas quite nice. Moest of the staff spoked english. The madrass in the room vas a bitt hard, but ok. A bit stif prices in the restaurant. And the location of the hotel wasent the best. But buddy have everyting you need in the byddy area. If you are renting a car or motorbike, the location dosent matter. Good food aswell, and drinks.
