"Fine for a quick night"

I had a 1 night stay before departing from the Koh Samui airport. I wanted to check out that area of beach & shops. Beach access was easy - across the street and through another property, where there was a nice little beach bar with food, booze and even hookah. It was on the quieter end of the beach but an easy walk to the party. The beachside restaurants are expensive just FYI. Breakfast included was nice and it was fine, nothing amazing but there were eggs and those weird sausages that look like hot dogs :) plus bread, fruit, coffe - adequate. They helped me find a shop and also hailed me a taxi to the airport. The room was huge and the a/c worked well. It had a fridge and the bed was typical (hard). The wifi was pretty good. The only complaint I had was the door didn't close quite right - it was off the track a bit or something - so I heard more noise from the street. When i mentioned it on check-out they couldn't believe I hadn't called them to report it. They said they have 24 hour maintenance so bad on me for not voicing my complaint. I didn't think it was all that cheap but for expensive Samui, it was probably fairly priced.
"Small, relaxing beach hotel, great food."

The hotel was exactly as hoped; small, private bungalows that were well maintained, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed including great, locally produced shower gel. Amandine at reception was very helpful and friendly and the service staff in the restaurant were excellent, very attentive. We felt the food and wine were a little pricey, but the food was delicious (quiche was amazing) and they had French rose so we were quite happy. I didn't find my lack of French to be a problem at all, although that whole area is very French.

This hotel is in a great location! You can walk to all of the restaurants and shops, and they have their own chairs right on the beach designated for only the guests staying there. The sand is white and the water is turquoise, it is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen!! If you don't like the sand then their pool is right next to the beach and very clean. The breakfast buffet was just ok but the restaurant staff was so friendly it made the morning. They gave you 2 free water bottles everyday and had a helpful desk that set up activities for you. it was a great experience

The room had a gorgeous view. The place was clean and food was gooood. Staff was helpful. The only thing I missed was fast internet. It felt like back to modem. And the neighborhood was kinda dirty and far away from center. But it was quiet.

Room was clean and comfortable. I slept well. Staff was very helpful. Water was fine for swimming (although it was cloudy). Bar/restaurant is a great place to sit and enjoy the roar of the ocean. Nice atmosphere. Short walk into town. Very convenient. I took songthaew between ferry and hotel (60 baht) and had no problem. Swimming pool is well-maintained.
"1 night stay before heading to another island"

I needed a room for 1 night as I was catching a ferry to Ko Phangnan the next morning. I was very pleased with my choice. I opted for eating at nearby restaurants as the hotel restaurant was a bit westernized in options and prices. The rooms were small, but nice. I heard 1 woman complain because there were no drawers in her room, but that seemed like a funny thing to complain about to me.
