Krabi is home to a superb mixture of attractions and activities that focus on both the natural side...
Thailand is also known as ‘the Land of Smiles' and this nickname stems from the country's welcoming...
Entertainment in Krabi is similar to that on much of Thailand's coast with beach bars and restaurants...
"Great place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 17, 2013
The cleanliness of the room was a little to be desired, mainly the bathroom. The room has a wood base for the lavatory but the drain for water was next to it so all the water was being soaked up into the wood causing mold. There was no mosquito net which would have been helpful. but the grounds were nice quaint little resort. willing and helpful staff beautiful area.
"A little oasis in the middle of chaotic Krabi"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 14, 2013
This hotel was clean, the service was very good, the rooms were nice and clean. The location was great if you don't want to pay the ridiculous costs of being directly on any of the Krabi area beaches. The hotel is located directly on the main street about a 5+ minute walk from Ao Nang Beach. Even though it's in a very busy area (McDonalds and 7-Eleven right downstairs) the hotel itself is above the street almost on a hill (not sure how handicap accessible it was?) and is not noisy at all. The restaurant and pool bar served very good and reasonably priced food. The pool wasn't huge but it was nice with clean changing/bathroom area. One of the only drawbacks is the bathroom in the room has a huge window looking into the bedroom. There is a shade over it but it certainly isn't the most private of bathrooms. Wouldn't recommend unless you are traveling with someone you don't mind seeing you naked.
"Nice place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 14, 2013
As others have stated, it is far from Ao Nang, the main nice beach/ shopping area. But that is why we loved it. You can take a tuktuk to town, but the peace, quietness and relaxation will be here. Restaurant was good, breakfasts are decent, pool is superb, staff is what you will find common in Thailand (very indifferent). Price is on average to what you will find around here for a boutique hotel like this.
"A challenge to get to but well worth it!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 5, 2013
The Railay Great View Resort & Spa is the best secluded resort in East Railay. The cottages are well equiipped, the staff is pleasant and the restaurant is adequate. More eating choices await 10 minutes away. This is the last resort in East Railay so it realy is secluded and quiet except for the noisier longtail boats. Worth the money - I would definitely return!
"Excellent staff at a solid 3 star hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 5, 2013
Great staff, exceptionally friendly and willing to help. Hotel is Caen and in good condition. It is very good compared to other 3 or 4 star hotels we have stayed at during this trip in thailand. Location is great. While u are not right on the beach it is only about a 5 minute walk and keeps u away from the nois if au nang. Pretty good breakfast. Overall I am very happy with this hotel. Solid value for the money we paid.

Nice hotel on gorgeous beach. Nothing fancy but can not beat location.
"Loved this resort!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
Very clean, absolutely wonderful location! A little high for Thailand standards but you really are right on the beach and right in the perfect spot to walk almost everywhere. Loved the pools and beach massages. Rooms were clean and kept modern.
"Good location, decent conditions"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 14, 2013
The front desk was very nice, the room was old and although they cleaned it, it never really looked super clean. The location was good, but not great. When we were looking for a room many of the hotels were booked. I was happy with the value proposition for the price we paid, but i can see how some people might think the room was not as good as it could have been.
"Excellent hotel!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 28, 2012
We loved our 10-day stay here and we found Pakasai well worth the price. The ambiance of this hotel is nearly 5-star because there is an international crowd of travellers staying here who are generally quiet and pleasant AND the rain forest setting is very, very nice! We didn't mind the uphill walk to our room. The room itself (Deluxe) was relatively nice, but not perfect. The closet door jammed the room itself was little worn. But everything else worked well. Perhaps the best thing about Pakasai is the excellent food and the convenient location. You can walk to either beach in 5 minutes from the hotel. The food is better than any restaurant on the beach front. Don't waste your time trying to beat the food quality and prices at Dala restaurant. We found nothing that compared.
