Enjoyed the stay. We were in the main building.Meals were excellent. The room was "ikeaesque" in that there was no clutter and sparse to us Americans. But the rooms were fine. We had a great river view. The iron and ironing board were hung in the hall to reduce clutter. That was a first but great idea.
"Beautifully decorated boutique hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 10, 2013
I stay in a lot of hotels and this one is the cutest I have ever been in. Just well thought out visual design and functional to boot. Nice little in-room freebies and pretty convenient location. Would definitely stay again and will try to check out their location in Stockholm. Plus a real queen bed instead of two twins together. And a heated towel bar.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a great breakfast buffet in the morning.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The employees were nice and knowledgeable about the area. We liked that there were beverages and sandwiches for sale in the lobby, because we had gotten tired and needed to have some downtime in the hotel room. This made it easy to stay in, enjoy a meal, and have quiet after the business of Gothenburg.

We were happy in every respect. This was our second visit. We will return.
"Good hotel at the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 11, 2012
The Apple Hotel is one of the lower cost options in Goteborg. We needed a triple, and with the third bed folded down the space was limited, but consistent with other hotels in Europe. It is easily to get to by tram plus a short walk. There isn't anything else within easy walking distance; however, the tram connects you to everything else. Our rate included simple evening meals and breakfast which are OK to good and needed because of the location. The outside of the hotel is in need of maintenance, however it appeared that our room had been recently updated. The staff is very helpful, including helping us get some laundry cleaned which can be a challenge in Sweden.
"Quiet but accessible"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 26, 2012
The hotel was clean, the breakfast was more than sufficient, the location is just a couple of tram stops past the university district. I wish I had stayed more than just one night.
"Perfect"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jun 5, 2012
Located in a quiet part of town, five minute walk from central station. Staff was warm and hospitable. Small room was very clean and modern, and the bathroom was bright and sterile. Flat screen tv was a bonus and comfortable bed. Breakfast was free and outstanding with plenty of fruit, bread, cereal, and meats, eggs, and sausage. And inexpensive compared to others in the area. Will definitely stay here again if in town.
