Bromma Hotels

A couple of coworkers and I went to the Scandic Alvik before a professional conference in Stockholm. The hotel was clean and safe. The rooms were small, but it's Europe! It was an easy jaunt to the subway and into town and we really enjoyed the running trail near the lake. Staff was very friendly and professional. They even helped my friend find her shoes when she accidently left them behind. Internet access was excellent and free! After our stay at the Scandic we stayed at a hotel in the city and we all agreed that we would not have enjoyed our time in Stockholm as much if we hadn't stayed outside the city first like we did at the Scandic... And the crummy hotel in the city cost twice as much! My friends and I all agree that we would recommend this hotel highly.

I would highly recommend this hotel if one is looking to stay in stockholm and have access to a rental car. Firstly, it atleast half the price of other hotels in city centre, secondly, the rooms are very spacious, thirdly, there is no charge for car park and even for internet access and finally for the price we gave, we also got a sumptious buffet breakfast. Further, the staff is young and extremely friendly and helpful and while the drive to main stockholm areas is about 15 min, it just seems worth it stay away from hustle and bustle. One negative was the gym on the top floor and if you are staying underneath the gym, you could get woken up if someone is burning calories at 6 am on the treadmill. Otherwise I would give 8 star rating to this hotel.

It is a convinient hotel because it was the only one where we could as a family group, parents and 2 kids, be tougether in the same room with 2 different areas, and it is located out side of a train station. Breakfast was delicious!

This hotel is ideal for families with the fully equiped kitchens. There is no reception at weekends but they are on the telephone whenever needed. Very clean and spacious rooms. Location is a bit away from centre but there is an excellent tube and bus service that can take you anywhere. Its about 15mins on the tube to Stockholm.

We were suprised by the cleanliness of our room and the friendly service of the receptionist. The hotel is just a few underground stops away from the centre of Stockholm. It is situated just outside Brommaplan station - very convenient. Included in every room is soap, shampoo, towels and hair dryer.
