I've stayed at other Rotana hotels/apartment hotels and this one is the best! Gorgeous, big room with a fantastic view (21st floor). The hotel itself is really central - the Burjuman mall is in the same complex and it's right by the metro, close to the Creek etc. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Also, it's part of the Fitness First gym chain so if you like to workout/exercise this is the place! Lots of classes (yoga, spin etc.) plus cardio/usual gym equipment and a beautiful pool. Will definitely be back!

Forget about the shuttle-take a taxi, less than $10. Main restaurant served buffet for all meals; usually half American and half-Arabian. 5 minute walk to Metro which takes you everywhere you need to go and is simple to navigate. Good Italian restaurant (Cerano) 2 blocks away (make a right exiting from hotel) NO ALCOHOL SERVED ANYWHERE I WENT

Everything was impeccable except no utensils in the kitchen other than tea spoons..not well equipped to actually cook but overall very clean, nice we had a nice view and so close to the metro.

The hotel property was in the perfect location for me as we were only 100meters from a friends flat and walking distance to the beaches...
