  I had a very pleasant stay at Hanul Domnesc. The hotels seems to be brand new and it has lots of nice dark woodwork throught out. If you are a tall person you might want to watch your head as some of the doorways and angled walls are kind of short. is not in a great location but taxis are very unexpensive and can drive you to the center for about 10 lei (<3 us dlls). The food was great and I mean GREAT. I am not a big fan of romanian food, but this one had a special touch and was very well prepared and garnished.

  The hotel was not air conditioned and it was a bit hot on the top floor with no fan and just a couple of windows. The location was ok, but would have preferred to have been a bit closer to the center of the city. I was traveling alone and was not completely comfortable with the walk back to the hotel from the main square.

  Quaint room that was perfect for a single night's stay. Didn't mind having to go a few blocks to the actual check-in desk as the staff was very, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

  We enjoyed our stay at this hotel; the service and personnel was great and the room was clean with great views of the mountains. The only downfall of this experience was the hotel's location, which was a little far from city center. The only way to get to and from the hotel was by taxi.

  We enjoyed everything about the hotel. It is located in a little neighborhood, about 10 minutes from the Old Town, across from a picturesque church. The staff were extremely friendly and always helpful. Alex, at the front desk was very helpful and provided us good insight on the local area. If you do not mind a little walk to reach the Old Town, this is a great hotel to stay. We would stay at this hotel again.
