"Best Hotel in Lisbopn"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
This hotel is the best hotel of our trip/ The staff are tremendously helpful, extremely pleasant and knowlesgable. I wouldn't think about staying anywhere else while in Lisbon in the future. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay. Close to the metro and airport. Easy to get to the City Center and other parts of Lisbon proper. Room was clean and customer service was great.
"Perfect end to a visit in Lisbon"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 18, 2013
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The service was nice, the room was clean and modern, the internet and TV channels were great, and the location worked well for me, especially given the metro stop literally across the street. I had already spent time near the Rossio train station, which was a fantastic location, but staying in a different neighborhood gave me another experience of Lisbon which I really appreciated. There were lots of snack bars, parks, a mall, a movie theater, and work places close to the hotel, so I felt more like a local staying in that area. The only drawback of the hotel was the noise. I could hear my neighbors coughing through the night, but apart from that it was a great choice.
"Amazing staff"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 16, 2013
NH Liberdade is very well located, within 10 minute walk to the Commercial centre, Chiado, Rossi etc., all the areas that as a tourist you would want to see. There are many restaurants within the area, some just downstairs the hotel. If you are into shopping, there are many small and large stores within walking distance. Gucci is right outside the hotel door. A taxi stand and the metro are also right outside the hotel. The hop on hop off bus stops just outside the hotel. The hotel is really very conveniently located. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable enough but could do with a little updating. It would be remiss of me not to personally mention how mpressed we were by the front desk staff!! Absolutely amazing! Carlos and Rui C. stand out as just being extremely helpful and informative. They personify customer service. Thank you both for helping to make our trip to Lisbon special.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very nice and clean on the inside. You could hear some traffic from the street but it was not to bad at night. The hotel location was in short walking distance to the subway, park area, shopping and restaurants. There are always plants of cabs for tourists to take and the hotel staff will help you catch one if need be. The hotel breakfast was amazing. I will be choosing this hotel again next year when we travel back to Portugal again.
"good value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 28, 2013
I would stay here again just because of the value. I should have read a little more about the cais de sodre area as it is a couple blocks south of the biaxa area and i wouldn't want to walk it alone at night but with a group of gils it was fine. We were on the 4th floor and didn't have issues with the noise from the bars across the street (we read reviews with other renters having problems with noise and I could see that could be an issue. The wifi was down when we were there and we didn't have a way of emailing the managers to get that fixed. They listed a hair dryer and there wasn't one. Overall the place we stayed was really large and comfortable and clean except for unacceptable amounts of mildew in the bathroom. That could be fixed easily with a little bleach so it seems inexcusable because getting clean at the end of the day in a tub that looks dirty is not pleasant. Also the shower head was broken so we had to rig it with our hair bands. But again overall the price was so great that I would stay here again and these issues we noted didn't affect our overall trip.
"great location, workable problems"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 17, 2013
This was a great apartment. Clean, stocked, comfortable. I do not think you can beat the location. HOWEVER, They really need to give up on the glass door to the bathroom and put in a real door. I would not recommend for more than 1 couple, or a couple with no more than 2 kids because of the bathroom issue. As a side note, we where there in January and the cleaning woman did not know how to work the heat. No one came and fixed this or showed us how to work it properly until multiple calls and days later. The shower was broken and although we pointed this out, it was never fixed, so we had to shower one handed while hanging on to the sprayer.
