"Dated!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 1, 2013
Warsaw has a lot of new hotels. Old In Warsaw would be anything built in the 90's. This hotel just feels and looks old and dated. Like most countries in Europe they don't follow the rules in the star rating system. This hotel claims 5 star but it Is a 4 star for sure. For a good price say 100 US it's not a bad deal but if your looking for 5 star luxury and service go somewhere else. On the positive side the beds are amazing with down mattress covers and high thread count sheets. I was looking forward to a big French breakfast but was horribly disappointed. My first impression was it looked like a motel in both presentation, selection and food quality. Would not stay there again, there are just too many choices in Warsaw these days to go back to something disappointing.
"Excellent location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013
Hotel older. But very well maintain. Staff very friendly. Only one small problem- all rooms don't have temperature control. In my room was too hot because old system of heating.Going to airport- BE AWARE OF TAXI THIEFS. THEY LOOK ON YOU AND MANIPULATE NUMBERS ON REGISTER. THE DISTANCE TO AIRPORT TERMINAL IN VERY SHORT. THEY CHARGE YOU TRIPLE AMOUNT.WITH INDICATOR OF PRICE ON SIDE WINDOWS, YOU WILL PAY FIVE TIMES MORE. THEIR TRICK IS TO GO TO PICK-UP A PARKING TICKET AND MAKING SPECIAL ROUNDS AROUND. I AM AN ARCHITECT AND I WAS SURPRISED.
"Convenient location and comfortable stay!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 29, 2013
I was surprised to see that the hotel on Wilcza was actually a studio unit! We had to pick up the keys at a different location (the main office about 5 min walking distance from the actual room we rented and a bit tricky to find it) which was rather unusual. We traveled to Warsaw by train which got delayed and so we were late to get the keys to the apartment. We called the office to notify them we would be later and the lady who answered our call was super nice, accommodating and waited for us until we got there. She also suggested a few things to see while in Warsaw. The studio we rented was on the 5th floor in the apartment building. It was really nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom had washer and shower. The kitchen was really nicely designed with the small fridge and also dishes if one chose to cook there. The whole unit/studio was really comfortable. It is also conveniently located, 15 min walking distance from the Warsaw Central train station, 25-30 min walking distance to the older part of town. The only few things I think might have made the stay better was the fact that we could not adjust the heat in the apartment so it got really hot in there (we were staying there in December) and so we opened the windows at night but since the apartment is located on a rather busy street, it was a bit loud. Overall, it was a great stay and experience!!!
"4 Days in Warsaw - my wife and I"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 25, 2013
Excellent service - awesome breakfast buffet, eggs to order, espresso and lattes, fruit and bread galore, all fresh. Comfortable bed (a little soft for us, we like European hard-style beds). Only negative was water temp was not consistent. We were on tenth floor so maybe that had something to do with it. Once every minute or so, while in the shower, the hot water would drop a little and the water would go warm-cool, just for ten seconds, but still a bit annoying. That was the only negative Everything else in the room was great. Quiet (important for us), very clean and fresh sheets daily, heated floor in bathroom, nice TV with 4 English news channels. We like to walk and it wasn't far to old town, even closer to Centrum mall and train station and Uprising Museum. A cheap cab ride to most places. Neighborhood borders some high rise business buildings in one direction and high rise aprtment builings in the other direction, so not much to look at from the hotel. Free intl english newspaper in the morning and 2 bottles of complimentary water in the rooms. Freindly staff for a hotel with hundreds of rooms. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant.
"Convenient to all my interests."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 17, 2013
I was pleased with all aspects of the hotel facilities, amenities as well as the greeting and assistance I received from the staff. I had reviewed a number of properties and am glad I chose Novotel Warszawa Centrum.

"Great hotel near airport"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 11, 2013
This hotel was cheap but spotlessly clean. Staff was friendly and courteous - they opened up the breakfasy buffet for us early and it was full of great food and tasty snacks. It's about 10$ 30 min ride from downtown. They provide free shuttle to the airport. We will definitely stay there again.
"very nice hotel close to Warsaw Airport"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 8, 2012
I enjoyed my overnight stay. The room and hotel were spotless and very comfortable. There was also a beautiful sculpture garden outside the hotel and I truly enjoyed. I took some great photos too. The hotel also served a wonderful breakfast the next morning and a free shuttle to the airport.
