After you stay 10 nights, over time, at a hotels.com partner property, we’ll give you a free night at a hotels.com partner hotel. Whether it’s a resort in the Bay Area or a cozy New England Bed & Breakfast is up to you.

We’re in the process of making some changes to the welcomerewards™ program that will go into effect on March 9, 2010. Check out the breakdown below to see how the program will work for you.

How It Works

1. Sign up for a hotels.com account and enroll in welcomerewards™ by clicking here or calling 800-2-hotels. Already have a hotels.com account? Simply log-in to your account and join welcomerewards™ from your "My Account" page.
2. Sign in to your account BEFORE booking a partner property at hotels.com, or tell a customer care agent that you are a member of the welcomerewards™ program when making a booking at 800-2-hotels.
3. After you complete your stay, your credits will automatically be added to your account. You can check your account balance by signing in to your account and checking your "welcomerewards™ Activity" page, or by calling 800-2-hotels.

4. After you have stayed a total of 10 nights at one or more partner hotels, with each night costing a minimum of $40, we will automatically credit you with a free night at a partner property offered by hotels.com valued up to $400.

   As of March 9, 2010, the maximum value of your free night will be the average daily rate of your 10 nights. And if you want to choose a higher-priced room for your free night, simply pay the difference. We’ve also extended the expiration period for credits so you can use each one for 36 months from the date they are earned and earn unlimited free nights each year. Plus, there will be no minimum hotel rate required for the 10 nights you book to earn your welcomerewards credit, so you can earn your free night at hotels of any price!

5. Once a credit is earned, simply log into your account before making a booking, and you will be given the option to use it. You can also book your free night by calling 800-2-hotels.
