We stopped there in our one-month Alpen tour, the room was quite small for the three of us, but clean with perfect beds and a big bathroom. Location: 10 min to Marienplaz...but really busy in a very busy area a really perfect hotel for businessmen but not for family holiday.”
Sebastian, Jan & all the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. They were informative and had all kinds of tourist info on hand. The rooms were always clean though a bit small. Our stay wa very comfortable. The location of the Laimer Hof is not central but a very short tram ride takes you into the heart of the town or the station. The plus is that it is very close to the Nymphemburg Palace & grounds, which is rather nice!”
The only possible downside of Unterhaching is the location - about 25-30 minutes from Munich center by the S-bahn, which runs every 20 minutes and is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Everything else was surprisingly good - clean, quiet, flawless, yet practically invisible service, and, very important for the connected traveller - with free, unlimited, fast Internet everywhere, accessible with simple and easy to type credentials.”
The Park Inn is perfectly located, right in the middle of Alexanderplatz. I was staying on the 19th floor, so I also had a fantastic view over Berlin. The room itself was clean, well laid out and comfortable.”
Got a great deal at this hotel. The area around it has lots of bars, shopping, restaurants, and the subway that's 5 min walk away runs regularly to the airport and all major tourist sights. As convenient as you can get to the city centre without spending city centre prices. Hotel itself was very comfortable. Bar was warm and inviting, rooms very comfortable.”
Great hotel, service impeccable. We were allowed to check-in at 10AM after a long over-night train journey, and delayed check-out by 4 hours for E30. Location ideal near parks, shopping, public transport. Bike-hire at hotel.”
Excellent location for travellers who need immediate access to the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof), as well as to metro and tramway lines. Very good relation price/service. I would defintely come back to this hotel, provided the rates are mantained.”
Our stay at the Adina was very good, however, the website is a little deceiving as 2 photos of the roof top with two sets of table and chairs are displayed in the ad with a description of the roof top views available. The same photo is clearly displayed on the front desk counter, however when making enquiries as to the access we were advised that one has to book the rooftop suite to gain this access. This is not mentioned at all on any of the booking websites. Our booking also stated that we would get dressing gowns included but they were not evident at all. Little things but annoying things, otherwise, our 2 night stay was enjoyable”
I have been in lots of different hotels in Germany in different cities. I guarantee all travelers that this hotel is the best choice to stay with its really fair price. You pay more than 100$ a night in Frankfurt to other hotels but you wont have same comfort with Ramada in Frankfurt. I am talking about Ramada that 3-4 min from downtown not one in the downtown.”
A good all-round impression and a very good deal for the price we paid. 10-min walk to the main railway station, but one has to know his way, as it may get be a bit tricky to find the first time - write down detailed directions. Best exit - Hauptbanhof South, and then past the museum. The best transport link is by bus to the Fischmarkt - a must-see on a Sunday morning, and a place you can't get to by S or U-Bahn. The bus journey takes about 20 minutes directly there. We found a good fish restraurant at Fischmarkt, 4, so took a bus there just for a meal and back to the hotel.”
Had just one night in Hamburg, the hotel was reasonable value for money, a great location, rooms a good size, very clean and bathrooms recently renovated. Movies a bit expensive at 18 euro but other than that would recommend this hotel.”
Very pleasant and relaxed hotel with terrific staff at all levels, in a most convenient location. Fine range of foods for breakfast, and a lovely bar and cafe on the ground floor. Only let down was very limited selection of tv channels for the international traveller (other than German speaking), but who's watching tv when you're in Hamburg”
