My (standard) room was very big, and very nicely designed in a Scandinavian style. Very large bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle. Big desk and long window seat along picture window that filled end wall. Minor gripes - no light switch near the desk, which was a pain, and the air conditioning wasn't able to bring the temperature down to 22C - hardly a chilly target”
Small, quiet hotel in the middle of the old town and a mere 15 minutes walk from the Metro. Staff are extremely helpful, welcoming and accommodating. There was plenty of food for breakfast and it was of a good quality. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. On the downside the ensuite bathroom was small and had no ventilation.”
When I made the reservations through Hotels.com, the site didn't mention anything about parking charge. I arrived at the hotel and they asked me for $20/day for parking. I refused and after much negotiations and haggling, they finally agreed to waive the charge. It was an unpleasant experience. I think Hotels.com should state all charges on their site. Thank you, Vicken”
Checkout was difficult, hotel tried to charge us higher rate that was reserved. It took us almost half an hour to convoke them that it was their, not our mistake. Also business center Internet had issues- all passwords were blocked.”
Nice luxery hotel at the seaside. Outside the season we were the only guests! Beds not comfortable. In the beginning of November cold rooms and no heating system working.”
