Heated pool and fitness center, well appointed and very clean room, 24 hour room service and generally good quality service made this a very comfortable stay. It was also convenient to the airport.”
A lovely small hotel with excellent service staff. Reception staff spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful. The hotel is located adjacent to La Mariscal and there are many good value reataurants/eateries available plus clubs etc.Wouls recommend as a good reasonably priced hotel in Quito USD3 from the old centre”
Striking architecture establishes this hotel from the rest of its Old Town Quito neighbors. The service, amenities (the pool deck is excellent, the restaurants are top-notch), rooms, and the location could not be better. Great for an overnight stay while awaiting a follow on flight to the Galapagos (~$5-15 cab fare from Sucre International).”
In downtown Guayaquil, the hotel offers a secure location close to the city sights. Malecon 2000 is only two to three blocks away and the hotel is across from the Parque Seminario. (That is where the iguanas live) The service wasgood. AC is each room as well as good service. The hotel is more along the lines of a 3 star hotel.”
Having already stayed here between Lima and Galapagos, I was satisfied enough to stay another night between Galapagos and Cuenca. Very centrally located for exploring what there is to see in downtown Guayaquil; a couple of blocks from the Malecon and also from the cathedral. Excellent breakfast and good dinner menu.”
Great hotel for a family vacation transit stop on the way to the Galapagos. Great Spa, Gym, and Pool. Perfect for a 12 hour transit before our flight home. Bathrooms were great with plenty of product to refresh after a long trip to Galapagos. Very close to the airport -- just 5 minutes with a complimentary shuttle bus. They picked us up and dropped us off at our convenience. The rooms were comfortable for a nap before the flight home. Internet was very spotty. Sal and Pimiento had GREAT, inexpensive food.”
delightful special hotel. The staff are all wonderful, smiling, helpful and courteous. Very unique building from another era with beautiful furnishings in the public rooms and a welcoming ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location couldn't be better.”
An almost-perfect hotel for a visit to Cuenca. It is more like a B&B, with basic restaurant services. Located a short walk from the colonial city center and convenient to local shops. A very loud disco operates across the street on Friday and Saturday nights until 2am, so you want to be wary of accepting the large front-side room. It is otherwise a very nice room. The cab drivers won't know where it is, so take their address to get home. The staff were always pleasant and responsive, and the facility is quite clean. The restaurant is good for a quick free breakfast, but there are too many other better alternatives for the other meals.”
We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! It is so conveniently located for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. The family that run this hotel have an eye for detail and treat each guest with the warmth you normally only expect from friends and family! The breakfast was fabulous and the staff, other than family members, were equally as efficient and friendly. AAA in our books.”
A very nice hotel with plenty of food and drink and the view from the hotel is wonderful. The people are very kind and helpful.....but it would be nice if a few more of them either spoke or understood english. overall a very nice experience and a wonderful time.”
