I was there attending a conference at the same hotel where I stayed, hence it was very convenient, hotel staff was knowledgable and friendly. The food was average, not really gourmet, at least the dishes served during the 5-day conference were simple but lack taste. On the other hand, the business center staff was very helpful!”
A good stay with no complaints. The lady at reception was brilliant: helpful, friendly and went out of her way to provide an excellent service (do not know her name unfortunately). People like that make a hotel so much better. Thats where the stay starts and she does it well.”
We loved our stay. From the minute we were greeted by the concierge and checked in by the very friendly staff right up to our departure we had the best treatment. The breakfast is absolutely amazing with an additional special menu which changes daily to choose from What a great idea. Attention to detail. The young gentleman at the bar was very capable on recommending the local wines. Cannot fault the hotel or staff and will definitely recommend and return when next in Prague.”
We stayed in the apartment available at this hotel for 4 nights. It was well equipped and we were able to do some cooking, too. The hotel is on the edge of town but still an easy walk to the town center - perhaps a 10-15 minute walk to the central Old Town square. It was very quiet at night, had free Wi-Fi access, and free car parking included. We would stay here again if we return.”
We were there for the weekend and it was a very pleasant experience. The Hotel is right at the main square and you can walk from there to anywhere in the town. The buffet breakfast was also very good.”
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They also own the jewelry store next door, and sometimes need to go there to get a hold of staff. A very good hotel for the budget minded traveller, with a very easy walk from the bus stop. It had all the comforts that one needed in a great town.”
Our room was on the small side, but very luxurious with an entry foyer. We were on the top floor which had been renovated. My parents were on the 2nd: their room was much bigger but a bit updated - still very comfortable. The breakfast was the best of the whole trip - very extensive and excellent service. The location was great, short walk from everything. The parking is off site about 100 meters, was not an issue for us.”
I spent 1 hour to find the hotel due to no road information (drove from the south). I forgave it when I had discovered the place. There is fantastic sightseeing due to it stays on the top of the hill. You can see amazing view of the Carlovy Vary, mindbending picture of planes taking off and real wild animals. We watched roe deer! That place for people who likes nature as is.”
The hotel staff were wonderful. Most of the staff spoke some English. The upper floors had not been renovated and the carpet was badly stained. Great views even from the back of the hotel. Spa services were incredible.”
Just back from a few days at the Comsa and I loved it. The hotel itself is very impressive. The rooms are very nice and spacious. We were a bit disappointed with the menu in the restaurant, we felt it was too "alternative", I had a cod dish which was very very dry. My friend had pork which she said was delicious. We only ate in the restaurant once, we may have ate there more if the menu was a bit more conventional. The breakfasts were great, a very good choice. I left my ipod in my room and only realised once I got to the airport, I rang the hotel and they sent the concierge to the airport with it. I was very grateful for this great service. Thank you to them for that. Overall, I loved the Comsa Brno Palace and would definitely stay there again.”
We had the superior room - it was very spacious for two people. Heated towel rack was very useful in the winter. Mini bar prices were very good. Breakfast (included in our fare) was the standard type at these hotels but nonetheless, we were very satisfied. The front desk wasn't helpful with answering our questions. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk to the city center; it's a little out of the way if you aren't a big fan of walking. Otherwise, it's just a short walk in a comforting, safe neighborhood. Internet connection is wired only, except in the lobby. However, in our room, we were able to get a signal from another hotel (since our phones don't have Ethernet cables, obviously). In summary, pay a little extra for the superior room (we paid an additional ~$15 per night) and it was worth the bigger rooms.”
Ticked all the boxes, good breakfast, free wifi without any login hassle, my only comment would be that my room was quite dark, which I suppose is a result of the hotels heritage, smaller windows and a fake stained window fronting it. I would otherwise recommend.”
