Lancaster house is small quaint hotel in North Bogota. i was provided excellent service by Angie, lisa and the rest of the staff. the bed was somewhat and the staff quickly moved a pillow top mattress to the room. i was greeted by a smile from Angie. She and Lisa are multilingual which improved my stay in the hotel. thank you!”
I chose this hotel because it is close to El Dorado Airport. I found the staff to be extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and generous and the 30 minute massage which was included in the room rate was greatly appreciated after the 29 hour trip from Australia.”
THE HOTEL IS EXCELLANT AND BEAUTIFUL AS IS THE WHOLE CITY OF CARTAGENA. THE POOL AND POOL AREA ARE NICE AND CLEAN, HAS A NICE SWIMUP POOL BAR.. MANY HOTELS CLAIM TO BE ON THE BEACH BUT WHEN YOU GET THERE THERE IS A STREET TO CROSS. THE BEACH IN FRONT OF THE HILTON IS LITERALLY A FEW STEPS. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL. GET THE BREAKFAST PLAN AT THE HOTEL. THE BREAKFAST IS EXCELLANT. AND THE DINING AREA IS CLEAN AS IS THE WHOLE HOTEL. THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS THAT BRING PEOPLE TO THE CITY ARE CLOSE BY. THE BEACH IS NICE WHITE SAND. HOTEL HAS A LONG CABANA IF YOU CHOOSE TO PUT YOUR LOUNGE CHAIR OUT OF THE SUN. THERE ARE PEOPLE OFFERING JET SKI RENTALS IF YOU LIKE IN FRONT AND ALSO OTHERS THAT WILL TOW YOU BEHIND THE BOAT .ON VARIOUS TYPES OF RAFTS. THEY HAVE A LITTLE BAR FOR REFRESHMENTS ALSO ON THE BEACH I DRANK THE WATER IN HOTEL AND WAS VERY GOOD. ALL ROOMS HAVE GREAT VIEWS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A OCEAN VIEW ROOM DO NOT WORRY AS THE OTHER ROOMS HAVE BREATHTAKING VIEWS OF THE CITY. THE HILTON IS SITUATED SO YOU CAN SEE THE ENTIRE SKYLINE OF BEAUTIFUL DESIGNED BUILDINGS ALONG THE BEACH AND INTO THE CITY. A VERY NICE CASINO WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE AND SHOPPING YOU CAN WALK TO. I WALKED OVER A MILE FROM HOTEL EVEN LATE AT NIGHT. DO NOT BELIEVE ALL THE NEGATIVE THINGS SAID ABOUT COLOMBIA. THE PEOPLE ARE FRIENDLY AND I FELT SAFE EVERYWHERE I WENT.I ALSO SPENT TIME IN THE CITY OF SANTA MARTA. WHICH IS SAFE AS WELL..”
Everything was excellent. The rooms were clean, the staff was amazing, it's across the street from the beach, the food is wonderful. It's a perfect hotel for any type of vacation or getaway - families, couples, friends, people of all ages were enjoying themselves. We loved it.”

The hotel is well located. Its connected to a small mall and across the street there is a large one. The staff is very friendly, but the hotel overall is dated. The carpets are stained and the bathroom fixtures are satined as well. It feels old overall.”
