The room was a perfect size and the huge window and beautiful view was also nice.try to get a room on the top floors, the shower and bathroom was very clean and the staff was always there to help you.the best extra was the free espresso in the lobby. The only negative part of our stay was the restaurant..the food was cold,no taste and the dish was very poor and over priced.Eat at the Pub across the road..”
Even if the hotel is a bit far from city center by foot, it is quick to access by bus. Rooms are very huge 2 double beds. What they call an Intercontinental breakfast is just fruits, bread and jam with a hot drink.”
I loved my stay at this hotel. The service is excellent and the staff really friendly. The pool is amazing and the location of the hotel is beautiful. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants and some really interesting tourist spots. An overall awesome vacation!”
We stayed here for four nights and it was great. We had a large room that had been renovated this year and it showed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and modern. Staff were very nice at both reception & the bar where we had some food on the first night. Hotel was within walking distance of almost everything as it was between Downtown and Plateau-Mont-Royal. The metro station Place-des-Arts was about 3 minutes walk down the road though if you don't feel like walking. Area directly around the hotel was very quiet so you get a good nights sleep! Bars & restaurants were 5 minute walk away. Old Montreal is about 15 minutes walk.”
We were delighted with our recent stay of eight nights. We are a family of five (kids aged 16, 14, 11) and found the hotel in a great location. We had good weather during our stay and it was a big advantage to have the pool and area around it to relax after tiring ourselves visiting the museums and other city attractions. Our room was in the rennovated part of the hotel so the decor was not dated (neutral browns and white) and we managed to make lots of meals in the little kitchenette. If you are short a saucepan or anything just ring front desk and they send up the utensils you need. There was no extraction hood so I would not advise cooking anything too smelly, but we saved ourselves a lot of money by cooking simple pasta meals etc. We found all the staff curteous, and everything perfectly clean. We felt safe walking the street to/from the underground and it was only a five minute walk to the underground. Great value for money. Not luxury, but perfectly adequate, comfortable and clean.”
I would recommend L'Appartement Hotel on Sherbrooke to anyone. It's clean, comfortable and in a great location - walking distance to all the major sites downtown. It's close to both bus routes and metro stations. The service is really first-class. The staff are genuinely nice and are always willing to help. They upgraded us when we arrived, and were on-hand to answer all our questions about Montreal. If you're planning on staying downtown, but want the flexibility to cook your own meals, I'd really recommend L'Appartement Hotel. The pool on the top floor is great, and you get the added bonus of having a fantastic view of the city.”
Spent the night at the CP with a couple of friends and had a great time. Attached to the casino, less than a 5 minute walk to Clifton Hill and less than a $10 cab ride to Fallsview. The room was exceptionally clean and the hotel staff was kind and accommodating. Initially our room key didn't work but the engineer was outside my room before I could even make it up there myself from the lobby. Great experience and well priced for the experience. The only downside - parking. $19 with in-and-out privileges. Aside from cost (more than downtown Manhattan), finding a spot in there was next to impossible.”
This hotel is in a great location as the mini tram shuttle is located a few minutes from the hotel and saves the long steep walk up and down to the falls. It has a lovely leisure centre which nobody seems to use. The fallsview rooms are worth the extra cost as our room had a spectacular view of the falls. Rooms have 2 queen beds, small cloakroom with storage and mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. It is in a good central location beside hotels and restaurants.”
The hotel is decent enough It's excellently placed overlooking the falls - but one must not be misled by the advertising. Our falls view room was actually a (very) partial view. Folding bed was very uncomfortable and in fact the kids ended up sleeping in our beds. Parking is ridiculously expensive at CAD 15, when you can get free parking from the casino next door (after registering as a player and playing a bit).”
I've been staying in residence for a while and let me say this it never failed me. This Vancouver residence inn is a bit different than the others in terms of design but overall it just delivers. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, good neighbourhood that's a walking distance from all what downtown vancouver can offer. My only complaint is that the hallway between the rooms was small!!”
We stayed here for one night on return from Whistler while waiting on our flight home. Very comfortable hotel, within walkin distance of Sky train, waterfront and downtown bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and hotel amenities were good including the swimming pool. Taxi to the airport was only 30 dollars.”
