Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was extremely nice and comfortable. Great layout, and the staff was very helpful in helping with everything we needed. Everything was above and beyond what I had expected.”
Atlantis was my choice despite there was no room availability on one day and had to book a higher priced option for that day. Though initially they asked me to stay in the same lower priced room, they finally let me stay in the higher priced option for entire duration. ThanQ Atlantis. That being said Atlantis is a great option to stay. Superb location on Palm Islands, Aquaventure, Lost Chambers and my personal fav Ambassador Lagoon were all excellent and included with your stay. Dolphin Bay associated with the resort was expensive but a different experience all together. Beaches n pools were all neat n clean. But what I liked most was the themed concept of the hotel's interior design and ambassador lagoon. I would also like to thank the Hotels.com operator in the Ireland who patiently helped me book the Hotel and suggested various options one of which was very helpful.”
great except for the delay in getting our room after overnight flight. sat for nearly three hours in lobby without much feedback or updates from the people on the check in desk who didn't seem overly friendly for a five star. luckily most of the other staff we dealt with were terrific especially the guys at the front door who dealt with parking, taxis etc.”
my girlfriend wanted to stay here but i said it was too expensive and not worth it but i had to apologise. The staff are just amazing. Helpful courteous and speak great English. Free kayaking and camel rides and free dvd rentals delivered to the room made the price seem more reasonable. Great pool with slides. Lovely private beach. Beautiful room. Massive tv. Luxurious bathroom. Only stayed here for 1 night as that is all we could afford and we didn't have breakfast because breakfast for 2 cost more than 1 night in a different 5star hotel we stayed in. Lots of tourists visit it as an attraction and its nice to have the experience of luxury as a guest and worth it for 1 night anyway. There is lots more amazing things here especially lots of little things in the room but too many to mention. Overall, wonderful experience”
Excellent hotel overall. Very pleased with our stay. The only criticism would be that there appeared to be some confusion at reception I.e. We had late check out but when we returned to our room we could not get in as our key was void. Also there was some confusion as to what we were entitled to with club rates. But other than that we had a great stay in a great hotel. Many thanks.”
Overall, my hotel stay was very nice. Only negative point was that the main road access to the hotel was under construction and there were no direction signs to the hotel, and I was forced to pass it twice as the entrance was blocked.”
This is a beautiful hotel all be it off the beaten path.Enough cannot be said about the staff who went out of their way to answer every need possible. This is not a 5 Star but a very good 4 star”
I had booked two rooms for five adults.Overall stay was good. Breakfast was nice. Check in was complicated. I had given them the reference of my bookings but the guys at the check in counter did not know if I had booked two rooms with breakfast. They informed me that there will be no breakfast and when only I produced the email confirmation they agreed that the rooms will be with breakfast. I also had a problem of providing me with the extra bed as they informed me it wil be chargeable. In the end they agreed to provede the extra bed without any charge.”
Being a frequent traveller for work, I have countless hotel nights under the belt. This being my first experience with Kempinski, I was looking for a couple of quiet days on the beach to celebrate my birthday. I was simply overwhelmed by the experience. The welcoming and relaxing check-in, seated in comfortable chairs, the head-chef's handling our birthday dinner wishes and the personal interest, without being obtrusive, shown by the hotel staff in making this a good experience! Would go back any time! The staff is great, the location great and rooms are great!”
We stayed in a villa (by one of the internal pools). Room was comfortable and clean. Staff are well trained and very friendly. Food was excellent in the main buffet restaurant and at the Thai restaurant. Gym had very good cardio equipment but hardly any weights. Service at the beach in relation to towels could be improved - attendant did not want to exchange our towels one day because apparently there is a "one towel per day" policy - and that's simply unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. The spa and its facilities are a bit old and outdated (not 5 star level) but the staff there are fantastic - Rizza is a great masseuse!”
I always love the Cove, this was my 5th time back in a year. It is a perfect location, well manicured gardens, gorgeous villas, stunning beach and amazing views from the pool. I would return again!”
Very comfortable hotel and centrally located to RAK. Has the best breakfast of the RAK hotels that I have stayed at. Unfortunately, because of the way the surrounding roads/traffic flow is set up it can take a bit of time and patience to access the hotel.”
