We loved the remote location with boat shuttles available to venture else where. The entire staff were wonderful and friendly. They arranged everything for the tours we wanted to take. Overall it was like staying at your own private island retreat with all your needs taken care of.”
Great resort, super location, very friendly staff. The only thing to be aware of is that the location is behind the reef, so there is natural sea grass in the water, and not a huge beach front. This means the location is not terribly good if you're looking for a huge beach front, but if you're looking for a pretty natural setting, with great snorkeling a short kayak away, then Ambergris Caye is for you!”
It felt like we were at a 5 star resort, from the way the staff treated us. My only complaint is that the furniture was uncomfortable - which is fine if you are there a week or less. We stayed over 2 weeks. But that is all that was wrong. They do everything right.”

The hotel is just a better than average holiday stop over in Belize City. The breakfast they included in our stay was fantastic with no fee. It is a great place to stay for the cost. This is a 3 to 3.5 star hotel that has everything you need and a casino to boot”
This is a reasonably priced B&B type setting and is an easy walk to the boats that go to the islands. We were there on a Sunday evening when most things were closed so were very glad to have dinner available. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast of eggs,coffee,juice and fried bread were also very tasty. It is not fancy and 2 stars is about right but it was clean, very friendly and safe.”
Had a lovely stay. Bart and his wife couldn't have been more helpful. It's conveniently located on the edge of the excellent town of San Ignacio. Stay in one of the cottages set amidst the beautiful grounds and feel like you are in the middle of the jungle!”
loved our little cabana down in the beautiful garden... it was clean and comfortable. our son enjoyed the pool and the staff were very friendly and helpful. we enjoyed several meals here and it was only a short walk into san ignacio town when you felt like a change (-:”
We had a great stay at this property and the rooms (cabin with A/C) were great. Although rustic, the grounds were beautiful and the cabins were clean. The service staff was excellent and the food was reasonably priced. The resort is not near anything else and is not walkable from town but about $3cab ride.”
