We stayed in this hotel for 9 nights in May 2011 and were over-whelmed by the exceptional service from all staff, the wide variety of breakfast selections, the willingness of all in this beautiful city to be helpful, the close proximity to all tourist attractions and the breath-taking view from the hotel roof garden. We highly recommend this hotel to either business or holiday guests. Carol & Pedro - South Africa”
My suite was a floor-through one bedroom apartment, with ample kitchen, very comfortably and tastefully furnished, both bed, and chairs and couch in the living room. It's a short walk to all the sights, but it's near the bottom of Istanbul's second hill. That makes for an easy descent to the beach and the walk around the peninsula, but a bit of puffing if you're going straight up to Constantine's column. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”
This hotel is in the perfect location if you want to spend leisure time in Istanbul. While a bit far from the business areas, it is a few minutes walk from the major sights (Aya Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Cistern, the Grand Bazaar, many museums). The area also includes hundreds of restaurants and stores and is on high grounds with many pedestrian alleys, which means pure air. It is great for strolls and walks and very scenic. In addition, other major touristic areas such as the Galata tower, the Bosphorus, the Dohlmabace Palace, Taksim square and Beoglu are very easily accessible by the very efficient tramway nearby. While the place was a prison in 1920, it was probably the grounds of the palaces of Emperor Justinian and other dignitaries in the ancient city of Constantinople. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful and the services are top notch. We had some maintenance related noise in the room, but only during the day as the hotel was probably doing minor renovation work. From early evening to late morning, the room was extremely quiet.”
We stayed at Titanic 7 nights in June of 2011. We're family with 4 kids. The hotel is pretty new and looks great. Rooms are clean and modern. Outdoor pools, water slides, indoor pool and private beach are all clean and beautiful. Food was very good, mostly Turkish cuisine, everything fresh and delicious. My problem was related to service at the reception. Twice they tried to make me pay for already pre-paid stay. First time it took me 40 minutes to explain the guy that I already paid for my trip ( he demanded to see my credit card statements to prove I did actually pay). Second time, since I already knew the drill, I just asked to see the manager as soon as I was asked to pay again. Also, the hotel was overcrowded in my opinion. Next time we will be staying in Belek or Kemer, not Antalya.”
My fiance and I booked this hotel for its close location to Antalya Airport. It was well worth the money we spent. The hotel is spotless, all the staff were very accommodating and will do anything to assist. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in a while, the animation team, Altan and Bonus where very friendly, and socialable. They made us laugh constantly. I would definately return and recommend to friends.”
The hotel is in a very nice place near by an area where you can make a walk in the city in the premises, its beach is very nice, the facilities in the hotel are very satisfactory for a family vacation where you can safely leave the children to enjoy their time ,i would thank the whole hotel staff especially Mr.Subutai and his crew from the kitchen for the great effort he was doing i think i will repeat this again and again.”
From the name of the hotel, you would think it a large establishment: it is not. The rooms are clean and well maintained but, I suspect, that the property was built in the 1960s or so. Breakfast is excellent and the view from either the front or the back terrace is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a car and they arranged a park for TL10 a night. Just next door is the middle-class Adana restaurant, in either "Piknik" (ie fast) or normal mode. Good food and service. English is limited, except for one person, but all are willing to try to understand the non-Turkish speaking visitor.”
Dedeman Ankara is a very nice hotel! The staff were very kind, hospitable, approachable and responsive! The room was very clean and comfortable! The location is in a very nice area very close to officials and shopping malls and surrounded by restaurents!”
Very comfortable at a very affordable price. An excellent boutique hotel. The hotel is near the Basmane train station, so it is great for an excursion to Ephesus. The only draw back is that the neighborhood around Basmane is a little rundown, but it is not particularly threatening. Definitely recommended for a stay in Izmir.”
The room was big and clean and brand new. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It's close to shopping, the water, and everything else one would want to see in Izmir. My only small issue is that the tours through the hotel were sidetracked by typical tourist -trap carpet factories and leather stores. The tour-guide was clearly getting paid extra for bringing us there. On cheaper tours, I expect this, but when you are playing top dollar for a tour through a well-regarded hotel, you shouldn't have to waste time fighting off a carpet salesman.”
Really good hotel, nice location almost next to the seafront and a breakfast to die for - anything you could possibly want. Nice pool for a dip and good room (although upgraded to executive) so can't comment on standard ones. Bathroom a little compact. Overall it was very good. Staff extremely courteous and helpful.”
