We stayed recently in the Lebua hotel for the first three nights of our honeymoon & I could not recommend it highly enough! We were picked up by hotel limo which we had arranged in advance: we were so glad we did after travelling for more than 13 hours!! When we arrived at the hotel we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. We had booked a river view suite & the hotel upgraded us for free as we were celebrating our honeymoon!! We got a room the size of a house- 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, 2 living rooms and a kitchen! We were thrilled! They also sent us up the most delicious chocolate cake! The SkyView bar was our first stop on our first night- and it is truly magnificent, with a 360degree view of Bangkok! On our second night we had a reservation in sirocco restaurant, which is next to SkyView bar, also outdoors on the 65th floor of Lebua. Again- we highly recommend this wonderful experience- the food was simply exquisite and the ambience & views astounding. The hotel itself has a fantastic buffet breakfast each morning on the mozu floor ( mid way floor I think) and there's a gym & outdoor pool there too- lovely to take a dip in after a day of zooming around Bangkok on a tuk tuk. The hotels location is also very convenient- the river is nearby so we took a boat upriver to the grand palace area. Tuk tuks are also aplenty & very cheap! If like us you want a fab hotel in a great location- book the Lebua! Ps- the hangovertini cocktail is a must in the SkyView bar!!!”
There is simply nothing to complain! The property is excellent, the service is impeccable. We chose to stay in the grand deluxe suite-beautiful room with fantastic river views. We dined at the Thai restaurant Thiptara, the food was superb! The spa is a world in itself. It is HUGE! The treatment (spirit of Peninsula) went well with all my mates and most of them slept off during the treatment!”
Excellent. The staff are very friendly , helpful and always have a smile on their face. There is a metro closeby though however at night there are several mobile bars in the narrow street by the hotel .”
This time is celebrate my birthday with my lovely be!! The villa ...is perfer, comfortable, very beautiful view!! I suggest while you are stay in The shore, don't too much outdoor activity, spend the time to enjoy in there, here also have different kind of course you can join. We also having a private dinner at THE HABOUR, very very romantic, cheerful and nice staff provide a warmand professional service to us. This is a memorable day of my life.”
For this star hotel I would have expected it to offer free wifi not to charge $22 per day which is what I pay for 2 weeks in my country. Besides the TV was a disappointment, the quality of the screen and the fact that all the movies that I had to pay to see in Puket, were offered complementary in our Bangkok hotel. I think the hotel mangement have to review their technical services, e.g wifi, TV, their DVD library.”
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We got the room with breakfast buffet included and found that by the end of our stay (7 days) we were over the food because it was basically the same items every morning. It was very well priced and I would recommend it to people if they wish to be a little bit away from the hustle and bustle. It is a fair walk to the beach and about a 20 minute drive from the night markets and the main shopping centre. So we spent a fair bit on taxis and tuk tuks.”
It was the second stay at this hotel and we would come back anytime! Most of all we liked: - style of the hotel: nature all around the apartments and bungalows, so it is secluded from outside views - familiarity and coziness compared to surrounding 5* hotels (referring to the architectural atmosphere) - the beach: very clean compared to adjacent parts - the location: far enough away from the buzzling center of chaweng beach and yet close enough if willing to go there We hope that they will continue to keep this place in shape as it really stands out.”
We loved this hotel and it was everything we hoped it would be after following reviews of it for 6 months. Staff were friendly and always tried very hard to be helpful. The Premier Ocean view room was very spacious and worth the extra cost. The hotel is remote but this is why we chose it, however the hotel does provide free transport to Chaweng daily. We would definitely go back to stay in this hotel.”
Hotel has big pool and beautiful garden area. Not a good hotel if you have a problem with climbing stairs, there's a lot of them. But you can get a room on the first level, but it's more expensive. The restaurant is good as long as you order thaifood. Hotel has a shuttle that takes you in to town. It runs every half hour. But it's not far to walk, only 10 min. Good location. And the staff's helpful!”
The hotel location was perfect, it was close enough to the walking street but far enough from the noise and craziness. We stayed in one of the garden rooms... very clean and comfortable but there were mosquitoes in room. The hotel facilities were beautiful and staff was very friendly. Only small problem was there was a bad sewage smell in the garden area which we could smell sometimes when laying by the pool. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. Overall the stay was amazing and would absolutely choose this hotel again!”
Hotel is pretty cheap for what it offers. Only issues, 1. It's a bit of a walk to the main area. 2. The beach in front of the Hotel is a bit of a mess, a lot of vendors. Hotel staffs are quite friendly; the view is pretty nice, if you are on a higher floor, so try to get a room on 9-12th floor.”
beautiful hotel, i stayed 3 nights in ocean tower and room was amazing, 1 night in garden, it was nice enough, pool was amazing no free wifi in rooms, you can pay but very expensive i asked reception to call tour company and they said they would put charges to my room so i refused staff were generally nice enough with ok english great location and lovely tavern restaurant overall bit pricy but amazingly beautiful and luxurious would reccomend if you have the money”
