I had a wonderful stay - the service was invariably courteous and helpful, and I like the unique design idiosyncracies and details. Perfectly located in d/t Stockholm. One problem: given how early the sun rises in summer, appropriate blackout curtains are key. I found myself awake at 3:30 several times because light was streaming around the curtains. Also, because the room was small, without A./C it got stuffy quickly so the only way to cool was to open the windows... and let in noise.”
While there are hotels in Stockholm which are probably better located, I think you'd struggle to find somewhere that offers the same price/quality/location deal overall. The location itself is far from inconvenient - can be reached from T-Central using a short T-bana ride and a conncting tram - and the surrounding part of town is pleasant with a great supermarket just round the corner. Staff are exceptionally helpful and welcoming and the breakfast buffet is superb with plenty of variety and regular top-ups. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Standard TV is a little lacking however. Restaurant and bar offer great quality and very handy if you need an evening in. Room service is available and the reception desk has everything down to toothbrushes available should you need something. Would certainly use this hotel again and seemed to offer the best overall package at a reasonable price.”
Excellent hotel with great location. Easy to walk everywhere in Stockholm City. Huge breakfast buffet included! We stayed in a cheap bulk-bed room which was great value for money, as we could still enjoy the wonderful service and all the benefits that comes with a more expensive room. Highly recommended.”
This hotel was very clean and comfortable. Our second fold out bed for the kids was already made when we arrived. Modern bathroom, mini-fridge,plenty of storage space and all the amenities. An added bonus was a full breakfast buffet with excellent choices. Would definitely stay there again.”
A great hotel, conveniently located, lovely staff and all you need for a stay. I would also say look no further for dinner, if you like prawns this is THE place to go with their famous prawn sandwich, simply called King Size and also have a try of one of the Austrian wines in their impressive collection! Sit back and enjoy the views!”
I had a Petit Chic room which is chic but very petit! It was comfortable but small. The breakfast was reasonable but not great. It could do with more choice of fruit such as berries etc which are usually available in Scandinavia. The location is great as there are a lot of restaurants on the same street with some just outside the door.”
The hotel itself is a stylish “design hotel” in the Marriott Renaissance line of hotels. Staff was friendly and service-minded. The room was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. Our room was facing a small side street with no noise during the night. The breakfast buffet was nice with a good selection of food. I would unreservedly recommend this hotel to everyone who is going to visit Malmö.”
the room was spacious and good but the extra beds for kids were really uncomfortable. the quality of breakfast was great but there was a long queue for breakfast because of the shortage of space. I think they could add the other restaurant next to that but they didn't. instead they try to pick up our plates and other stuff from gust's tables to force them to finish their breakfast soon.”
we had a great stay in this great hotel and it has a great history. All over you will see picture of famous artist who stayed in the hotel. The stuff is very friendly and it has an free tee and cookie room. Perfect, thx”
I arrived after midnight and needed to stay at the airport before going in to Stockholm - this hotel was perfect - not as pricey as the Radisoon right in ther terminal, but an easy shuttle ride away. Even after midnight, a parking lot shuttle came by and it also stopped at this hotel. Nice little swimming pool to refresh the travel-weary in the morning, and a sauna in the locker room - very nice.”
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was extremely handy as it's located in the terminal building. Very quiet, very comfortable and most of all very convenient. You can check in your luggage and go back to the hotel until you need to go through the airport security checks. The best hotel I've stayed in in a long time.”
Stayed here last week and found it to be good value for money when you compare other hotel offers on Arlanda. This is one of the better Ibis hotels for me and the staff and service is good. The evening menu looked good enough if you want to have a quick bite .The shuttle service worked very well for me.”
