Hotel is very convenient for Port Veil and Las Ramblas area. Metro is just outside and is very easy to use clean and safe. I stayed in room 107 asked for a change but could not be accomodated room itself i could not fault but it is right beside lift and hotel restaurant also looks on to a very busy main road with a lot of noise i would suggest a back room or top floor room to avoid the noise. Staff are very friendly and all are helpful with good english.”
I read the reviews of this hotel before booking and was very happy with my stay here. I found the staff very welcoming and helpful in any request that l had. My room was clean and all l needed although not very large. There was great cooking facilities on each floor for the people of that floor and kitchen was always kept clean. Great views of the city from the roof space and nice swimming pool on the roof. Metro only a few minutes away and all night bus stops not far from hotel during the night. I felt very safe staying here and would use it again if returning to the city.”
Our stay in Vincci Maritimo Hotel was excellent. We loved our room, the design, everything. Indeed, the rooms aren't very soundproofed, you can hear when your neighbour is opening or closing the window but not another sound from next room. I don't consider this a problem, I felt great in our room. I like o lot the design of the room and of the hotel, congrats to the architects.”
I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of April 2012. It has a perfect location. Besides, room was big and good, service and quality was also fine. Everything about hotel and service was very good except the pillows. There should be more pillow available (maybe there were but we didn't ask) to use because existing ones are very weak. I strongly recommend this hotel for travelers to Madrid, especially if you are there for 3-4 days and you want be close to everything in the city. Location is perfect, Porte de Sol on left side and Gran via on the right, and crossing street, El Corte Ingles, Fnac etc next to hotel, as well very good shopping and tourist gathering areas.”
Great room, good breakfast and wonderfully helpful staff. Was also a short walk to the main shopping district, the botanical gardens and most of the notable plazas and monuments. Only down side for us was the distance to the train station, but was only €12 for a cab anyway. All in all...highly recommended for a very realistic price.”
A very efficiently run hotel with friendly, helpful staff..Beside Callao metro station. close to a stop for the "hop on hop off " bus and just a short walk to Sol and Plaza Mayor. We asked for a room looking out on Gran Via with a balcony. The double glazing shut out any street noise at night time. We had a view over the rooftops and a little balcony. Breakfast between 7 and 11 am is self service and has a very good selection. There was free wifi iinternet and also a printer in the spacious lounge area upstairs.”
Wanted a quiet romantic week away and this hotel was perfect. The hotel was quiet during september, not many kids or families. Swimming pool was clean and not too busy in September. Only disadvantage was you had to pay for towels, but got voucher for free water with each towel. Breakfast was expensive €28 so we opted to walk to local supermarket 5 minutes away and stock up on all essentials. We only went out to local restaurants which cos €40 including dinner and wine. The beer in hotel was expensive at €5 while the same beer was €1.80 in local restaurant. Would advise to stock up on drinks and leave in fridge in room. Our room was basic but suited us well, as we were out all day. We got bus into town €1.20 and took ten minutes.. So that was perfect. The atmosphere and staff were amazing. Always willing to help. We will definitely go back again!!”
The hotel was great, the room really comfortable, a number of smaller restaurants to eat at within a 5 minute walk and very good staff. BIG drawback is that they had no shuttle service to the airport. It cost me 29 Euros for a taxi from downtown Seville to get to the hotel and then in the morning, even though it is only a few miles to the Seville Airport Terminal, I had to pay another 29 Euros to get to the airport. When I spoke to the Front Desk, they told me that it was a flat fee from either downtown or their hotel to get to the Airport - I didn't mind spending the money to get there from downtown but rather outrageous to pay that same amount from an airport hotel. Note: normally it is only 21 Euros one way but during holy week, they charged additional 8 Euros. As nice as the hotel is, the next time in Seville, even if my flight is in the early am, I will stay downtown rather than pay for the high price of the taxi twice.”
The Hotel was in a great location for getting to the Airport for those early morning flights. Across from several local convention and business center. It was exactly what I would have expected for the Hotel age and cost of the room. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Very happy to have Wi-Fi throughout the Hotel. I am not sure that it was a problem throughout the Hotel however my wife had 2 bug bites during the night . I did not? Rooms were clean and had adequate amenities.I recommend this Hotel to the Business traveller and to those getting early AM flights in Sekvilla.”
A clean, quiet , well priced hotel in a safe neighborhood. About a 15 minute cab ride from the high speed train station, a couple of blocks from a mall with a HUGE grocery store, and about a 10 minute walk from town. Great little cafes, bars, and restaurants in town. Free WiFi too. What more could you ask for?”
Very nice, clean hotel. Parking was a little "tight" and there was a daily charge for this (i.e not included in room rate) Very conveniently located near main highway and near downtown and all the central tourist sights. Still impossible to get coffee before 8:00 AM unless one uses room service but this seems to be an inherent problem throughout Spain.”
