Given a glass of sparkling wine when we checked in. The bellboy helped us get our car into their parking lot. The hotel appears to be brand new..in great shape. Major points of interest are all walk able from hotel. Their dining room was outstanding. Best hotel we have seen in our 3 country trip.”
Very nice hotel. Parking was 9Euro per day in open lot in front of the hotel. It is about a 20-25 minute walk to the city center. The neighborhood has a few restaurants in the immediate area. The hotel staff was very friendly and spoke perfect english. The room was great, it had an additional separate bedroom for the kids and the room as well as hotel was very clean. Breakfast buffet was great with a very good selection.”
Location is perfect. One min walk from the Old Town and on the banks of the Danube. We got a great deal. 4night for the price of 3 with breakfast included. With regard to the Breakfast I would advise getting down early, as we found that when food items were gone they were gone. Also the tea and coffee is terrible as it comes in flasks so was always cold. I did notice that some people asked the staff for Coffee from a machine in the Bar. If you like coffee I would suggest you do the same.”
Stayed with my mum in excellent room with twin beds so comfortable. Breakfast excellent started 6.30 to 10.30 so plenty of time to visit. Gym great, restaurant food and service excellent and very good value”
The room was very big and very comfortable. Large bed. Good quality mattress. Sofa bed for 2 people in lounge area. Busy road outside so bit noisy in the mornings but air con meant that the windows could be kept shut. Fantastic breakfast brought up to our room at whatever time we requested. Could chose different option every day and there was a very big selection. I would recommend it”
Friendly staff, good location close to main pedestrian shopping/ eating areas around St Elisabeth cathedral. Secure car parking on site (charged/ day). Dinner menu cheap, freshly cooked + good sized portions. Nice Breakfast (incl) with lots of hot & cold choices, room had simple furniture but well presented. Welcome drink could be beer or soft drink or the most fantastic hot chocolate we've ever had, with fresh cream on top - delicious! 2 free bottles of water in room, but no tea making facilities. Ample sized double rooms, beds firm but comfy with clean bathroom + good shower. Kia Royal champagne cocktail very reasonable cost.”
Hotel Arkada was a great place to stay with outstanding service and the best location. The restaurant has excellent food at very low prices. We had large rooms overlooking the square and the front desk personnel were invaluable with help about services and help with transportation and tours. The only negative is that there is no elevator and the hotel and restaurant are reached by stairs. We were helped with luggage by the man at the front desk. Thanks again!”
