Swissotel Merchant is very conveniently located right on Clarke Quay and MRT is a short walk away.Marina Bay Sands & Raffles Place are within walking distance along the river.Very nice hotel with pool,gym,cafe and giftshop and friendly staff.Only improvement would be free wifi with standard rooms.

Great , However air con too cold and could not change . Great service from desk but a little too slow with only 1 person on counter mostly. Good location only short walk to MRT. Would recommend and stay again.

The hotel provided everything I needed from a business perspective. It was convenient, comfortable and cost effective (CCC) and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. I felt instead of an Indian restaurant in the building, ideally, a restaurant with the Singapore touch of flavor would have been appropriate.

Stayed for 2 night on our way to Thailand, airport pick up very handy. My wife and I have spent the past 8 years in the hospitality trade in Ireland and know what to expect. Arrived way before check in time but room was ready, great news after a 13hr flight. Hotel huge and very well layed out. Lots of choice for food and drink. Roof pool a must see ! Area great with lots to eat and drink. When we left, they very kindly looked after some luggage for us till we returned 5 weeks later... Great service. We received the same great service on our return and must also say the breakfast was amazing. So mush to choose from. We would also like to thank the manager on duty in the Club Lounge, great to see a manager hands on and was very helpful. Will return when in Singapore again !

Great hotel check in check out was easy and quick, the room service was tasty and fast the restaurant breakfast was perfect with so much choice. most important though is the location being at the airport means no need to rush and worry about traffic. the hoels has all that you need as well as a nice pool area if you have the time. I have been back a few times and will keep coming back .

A great superb support of staff..! Love the warm hospitality and the welcome that the staff at harris has given me and my family. I am in the hospitality industry myself and i feel harris has given me a top notch service. A great getaway for the family without having to leave the hotel. Stay there for 3days 2 nights and all we ever did was rest and relax. A place where i would recommend all my friends and family to go to. We will be back again!! Keep up the good service!

Apart from the 3 days 2 nights stay at the hotel, the only service that was not to our expectation is the toping-up or replenishment of the toiletries such as soap, shampoo, bath gel and new towels when the room is being cleaned. For that, I rated the service a "2". I hope to see an improvement on the aspect for our future stay at Holiday Inn. As for the surrounding neighboring, there is nothing much to go to or hang out except the sea sports near waterfront. The pool at the hotel was great especially with kids swimming and playing. All and all, the stay was pleasant and comfortable.

Beautiful resort, great lobby albeit with a nonexistent beach. Great pool and friendly staff he reception could use more smiling female staff. Be careful of taking the path along the shoreline the walkway is crumbling and interestingly came by a Komodo dragon!

This is my third visit to the Carlton Hotel Singapore and it met all my previous expectations of the hotel. It is truly a classy hotel with excellent amenities, friendly staff and wonderful service. I would gladly stay here again in the future.
