Stayed in a 7th floor suite for 9 nights. Room was excellent, good gym. Service mostly good, but they could do with better concierge service as I got wrong info about mall opening hours leading to wasted trip. Food only OK - not bad, but nothing special in any of the restaurants (and I tried them all) I was fed up of the very average breakfast buffet by the time I left. Corridor v smokey and it seemed to get into the room via the air con at times - but this seems to be an issue with all Riyadh hotels Overall room / internet was top notch and worth upgrading to a 7th floor suite as room was great and you automatically get access to the free club lounge with snacks in the evening”
The hotel is good in general, but for businessmen. The hotel has only a gym, no swimming pool, no health center (i.e. massage or sauna...). Breakfast is great. The room is very comfortable. Bathroom is good except a disgusting smell comes sometimes out of the washbasin. Some towels are old and their whiteness have decreased. Internet services are very good. Variety of TV channels is good. In the end, thank you Hilton for a comfortable stay..”
The stay was very comfortable. The Club lounge servcie and arrangement was superb considering that I had all my meetings at the hotel.”
Good Hotel, attentive staff, good location, great range of services, good selection of restaurants.”
Business trip. Not having much to say, small but nice.”
This is the "older" Radisson hotel in Jeddah, but don't let it fool you into thinking it isn't worth checking out! I think the hotel had been renovated at one time because it is an older hotel in an older section of town. They have done a fantastic job as the inside is great! The staff was extremely helpful with any/all our needs. If I travel back to Jeddah, this will definately be the hotel I look to stay at again.”
It was a great experience, the location is excellent, right next to the Haram. The staff are friendly, cooperative and courteous. Just don't use the business center, the prices are ridiculous. I was surprised that such an excellent hotel does not offer free internet (no wi-fi in rooms).”
Hotel was conveniently located in the Abraj Al - Bait complex which is adjacent to the Masjid Al Haram. The complex has a full fledge shopping centre with international shops and a good food court for the time which you are not praying (mind you , you will not want to shop or eat due the euphoria of being in Allah's town and near the sacred Kaabaa) but you will need to buy essential items such as prayer rugs, beads, zam zam..all is available here. The hotel also serves from great breakfast and the contemprary and modern look of rooms is comfortable and pleasing to the eyes. Movenpick Makkah is your monies worth and some more.”
We stayed two nights. Very convenient location, 10 Minutes walk from haram shatter. Friendly and cooperative staff, spacious rooms Neatly cleaned. Good standard hotel . I strongly recommend this hotel in Medinah For stay.”
I always stay at Anwar-ul-Madinah Movenpick on my visits to the holy city. The reasons for this choice are convenient location of the hotel, the high standard of maintenance of the rooms and general area and the excellent service by the hotel staff, not to mention the lavish buffet breakfast and plenty of underground parking space. This time, however, I saw something that I did not expect to see at Movenpick. There was only one receptionist at the counter when I reached there (it is rare). During my check-in, he called someone asking for another receptionist and after sometime another young gentleman reported to the desk. Meanwhile I noticed a distraught guest standing nearby. On seeing the new receptionist, he went to him and said that he had waited for a long time in his room but no one had brought his luggage. At this, the receptionist gave him a typical Arab arrogant look and simply shrugged his shoulders. This was shocking for me as I had never expected staff at a premium hotel behave like this with the guests. Also, the breakfast wasn't as warm and fresh as my previous experiences. Other than this, it was a memorable stay (as always) and I'd highly reccommend the hotel to guests.”
The hotel is strategically located in the outer circle of hotels however it is less than 5mins walk from Gate 21 (it may seem further on the map) Overall experience was on a high. Although the receptionist can be a bit more welcoming.”
