We loved this little hotel. Quiet & tropical, the gardens are beautiful. Very close to town & the beach Right on the bay. It's not fancy, don't expect a 5 star room here, but it's clean and well kept. And it will be even better when the cafe/pub is open. We would definitely stay here again.”
Some hotels in Rodney Bay are right on the beach. The Coco Palm isn't, but it's only a minute's walk away (if you use the little path at the south of the beach) or five minutes' walk if you cross over next to the police station. It is, however, closer to the restaurants, and bars, and the mall and grocery stores, so if you're willing to leave your hotel and explore a bit, then it's worth not being right on the beach. The layout is very nice with a big pool (with chairs and umbrellas) and poolside bar. I booked the cheapest room possible and it's probably pretty standard for the area, but still very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and doormen/security people at the entrances make you feel secure.”
The one bedroom suite was beautiful with a fabulous view of Marigot bay and the marina. The gardens are gorgeous. We watched hummingbirds and other birds - a treat for winter weary northerners. Staff is friendly - they make a point of remembering your name. There is a 2 minute ferry ride across the bay from the marina to a small beach which would be fine for families with children. There are several good restaurants in the area.”
absolutely fabulous place. paradise for sure. the staff was the best service i have ever had. i travel all the time and no one beats the service here. the owner was fantastic. the place itself was one of the nicest places ever. this is by far the best place on the island.”
A delightful luxury Hotel - A very large number of honeymooners--having been married for 51 years we felt rather misplaced!”
We stayed up north for several days at an all-inclusive and also at a hotel in Rodney Bay. One was ok, the all inclusive was horrible. So we quickly changed our reservations and treated ourselves to this hotel for the last two nights. The room, Ginger Lily, was amazing! Great views, great room, and a comfortable bed and private pool. We had an a/c room, but it wasn't necessary. The hotel staff was also very kind and helpful. We booked a tour to the volcano thru them and all our transfers. Suzan at reception was the first person in the whole trip who actually smiled, laughed and ttalked with us! We didn't think we would return to St. Lucia after our first few hotels, but would now just to spend a week at this resort.”

We were generally pleased with our stay at the Bay Gardens Hoel during the first week of our vacation. It provided a good base for getting readily acquainted with the Rodney Bay Village area. We particularly appreciated the close proximity of the mini-bus stop to Castries and points beyond, and the convenience of having a major food store so close by. Free internet service within the hotel and its nearby affiliate, Bay Gardens Inn, was also very easy to access when needed. Hosting a Friday night rum punch party (complete with local entertainment!) for the hotel guests was a nice touch for promoting mingling and enjoying a good time together! The courtyard / pool area was an inviting place to relax during the evening hours.”
