Fulfilled all expectations - clean, had character, all the facilities we needed, good breakfast, comfortable bed, very close to the centre and almost beside the train station. One small downside was some party in the same or adjoining building which made some noise one night. But overall highly recommended.”
This hotel is located pretty much at the main square in the Old Town. Couldn't ask for a better location for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. Rooms are fitted out with modern fixtures and are quite comfortable. We were at the back of the building which meant no view but it was nice and quiet at night. There is no lift but we didn't find it to be an issue. Would definately stay here again. Great value for money!”
Hotel Grand has one of the best locations in Krakow, right next to the square. The hotel is older style, but it has a nice elegance to it. While not modern, it is worth the price and you can't beat the location. The staff were all excellent.”
This hotel was quite nice, although they did want to charge us a early check in fee of 60 Zloty. That part was not very impressive otherwise the hotel was clean and comfortable, albeit a little pricey in the restaurant department.”
All in all the hotel was pretty good. The rooms were pretty big, clean and comfy. The hotel area is in a good spot - a 15 minute walk to the Old Town and a 5 minute walk to Central Station. They helped us with all the queries that we had. My only problem was that we were in a group of 8 and we had all booked rooms with King Size beds but when we checked in the hotel staff said that they were all booked out of King Size Beds and we got rooms with 2 single beds in them. The hotel staff said that even though we booked King Size beds that they were never guaranteed as it was just a preference. This doesn't match their slogan of 100% customer guaranteed. Apart from that it was a good hotel.”
The Platinum Residence was amazing, I felt like a VIP. I stayed in the studio apartment and it was wonderful. It was very spacious: equipped with a stocked kitchen, lovely sitting room, open bedroom, beautifully done bathroom and a huge terrace. Food wise it was connected to the Hilton so as a guest of platinum I had access to the restaurants of Hilton. There is a built-in spa, gym, and pool (all indoor) but I sadly didn't get the chance to enjoy because they were doing the yearly maintenance checks during my stay. The security is as if you were in an appartment building, for example you need your hotel card for everything: it opens the doors, and it turns on the appliances on in your room which males the hotel very efficient and green in some aspect. The hotel did have a wonderful concierge that booked my dinner reservations. One of my favorite things is that they gave me an early check in to noon and a late checkout up to 2pm. And since I arrived earlier then that they held my luggage in a secure while I went and explored Warsaw. The only negative parts is that the hotel is in a tranquil area, a little of a hike from downtown, but the hotels cab service was very inexpensive; and myself speaking only English I was upset that the in room cable didn't have all English channels, but at the same time you barely spend any time in hotels and overall it was an absolutely amazing, convenient, and elegant place to stay and I hope next time in Warsaw to stay there again.”
We have just had 2 nights at the Hilton and would recommend it to everyone. The location is fabulous and we had a view over the river and could see the famous crane from our room. The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious. All the toiletries were a welcome addition as we only had hand luggage! The breakfast was of a very high standard and we were offered a pack up for our flight home as we left at 4am which was very substantial and appreciated. A fabulous place to stay!”
The location of the hotel is perfect, with everything in the walking distance, from the river bank to the old city centre. Gdansk is a beautiful city, the experience is better as the hotel was as good as the city itself.”
Fantastic location. Easier to take a cab with lots of baggage, but literally within walking distance of the rail station. Hotel is two building that are joined, unfortunately, no connection, so it has two receptions - guess which is yours?! Ha! After eventually finding the correct entrance, (just around the corner), we accessed our top floor hotel room. Great space, well decorated, and plenty of furniture to store your bits. The main let down was the bath/shower - in the sense that the curtain was insufficient, so we had to do a bit of mopping up. The bath is a fnormal full size tub, but the curtain was non existant. The city centre was literally two minutes walk away from the hotel. Great food, bars/cafes too. Plenty of things to see and do! A must - and cheap too!”
Overall an excellent hotel. Room rate very good. I have just one criticism: Breakfast was too expensive. There are several good local restaurants serving excellent breakfasts at less than half the price in some cases. Because of this we did not have any meals in the hotel.”
This hotel is very cheap for what you get, a 5 star room just 7 minutes walk from the main market square, and even closer to other attractions. The panorama is just across the road, the huge indoor market is down the street, the museum and the river are right beside it.”
4 lads went to Wroclaw to watch the football game Slaska Wroclaw v Legia Warsaw. Great Location. Good Swimming, Sauna, although Spa wasn't working, very uninterested pool / gym person (wish I could of thrown his mobile into the swimming pool) Great helpful reception & bar people Room clean Would recommend the Hotel Qubus to anyone Finally don't tell the wife....................... the Polish Women are georgeous, can't believe how attractive they are.”
