Hotel is lovely and very near the castle. Very quiet at night, hotel bars and restaurant are really really expensive. I feel that they are pricing themselves out of the market especially when meals are very reasonable in nearby restaurants. area aroud hotel is not very safe and we were stopped by police on the way home one night, they were very rude and intimidating.”
Very helpful & friendly reception - room was the poorest 5 star of our 3 centre Polish holiday (size and facilities). While the hotel is central (main square etc) found it a little distant from train & bus station”
Qubus hotel was conveniently located just across the Jewish district. It has nice swimming pool and jacuzzi which is especially attractive in the winter after the long cold day. One thing missing is the electric tea pot for hot water.”
A nice, clean, and otherwise excellent place to stay in Warsaw. The reception staff was very professional and helpful during our stay. The only minus would be; no pool area, and that the location of the hotel could have been closer to the old town, and bar streets of Warsaw (if you fancy a walk it doesn't take longer than 15 minutes).”
We had a lovely stay but when we arrived i asked for an upgrade on our room, this was no problem until we got to the room to find that the room was tiny and there was no room to put my daughters bed in the room. We explained to reception about this and we got the original room that we booked which was lovely. when checking out they still tried to charge us for the upgrade which we did not accept because of the size. i have to compliment the bar staff as they were exceptionally kind and we had lovely dinner in the bar.”
Warsaw Mariott hotel is centrally located. I would probably stay here again if only for the location and the breakfast buffet. The staff were not so efficient nor attentive and the hotel lobby is the pits. The bed sheet in my bed was stained. The room and the beddings were comfortable. The bed and pillows were really soft...it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud....The discounted rates were the best!!!”
We have just had 2 nights at the Hilton and would recommend it to everyone. The location is fabulous and we had a view over the river and could see the famous crane from our room. The staff were very helpful and the room was spacious. All the toiletries were a welcome addition as we only had hand luggage! The breakfast was of a very high standard and we were offered a pack up for our flight home as we left at 4am which was very substantial and appreciated. A fabulous place to stay!”
My girlfriend being italian we came to poland to show her my country. Mercure Gdansk Hevelius was a great hotel to stay at. Coming from Australia this was really cheap compared to Italy where we were a few weeks before. Staff very helpful, rooms of very high standards serviced at 5 star level. It was a very hot day so it was great to come back to a cool room after all the sight seeing. Located short walk from the train station makes this hotel in an ideal location, with plenty of signs pointing to the hotel at Gdansk station. 10 min walk to all the touristy areas. Restaurant is over priced for polish level with plenty of restaurants in gdansk offering a better menu for the dollar. Room service is quite cheap aswell as the mini bar. Over all an excellent stay prob one of the top range hotels across europe.”
The location of the hotel is perfect, with everything in the walking distance, from the river bank to the old city centre. Gdansk is a beautiful city, the experience is better as the hotel was as good as the city itself.”
the hotel is a minutes walk to a shopping mall, the tourist centre of the panorama is literally on the doorstep and the beautiful river/island area is right behind the hotel. Quite expensive in the hotel compared to the market square. very comfortable and friendly”
Like in the title, everything is as it should be and nothing more. Not memorable in positive or negative way. Just one remark for the manager: making reception staff answer phone in a hotel in Poland by saying "Bonjour" is so pretentious and silly. And when they say it in the evening it's just plain incorrect.”
This hotel is conveniently located close to Wroclaw Glowny and a tram stop is adjacent to the hotel. Reception staff were extremely helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I will be happy to return to this hotel again.”
