The Nassau Palm Hotel is close to the central part of Nassau where there was adequate shopping and easy access to the busses which went to all parts of the island. The staff were cheerfully friendly and helpful in all ways, The beach was just across the road where there was swimming or just sitting on the sand. I am happy with my stay there. Friends in Nassau knew exactly where to find me and parking was no problem when I was picked up to drive to various places,”
Our stay at the BCH was pleasant and as advertised. Rooms were very comfortable but a bit small. The staff was always helpful and smiling. We really enjoyed the heated pool as the ocean was too cold for us this time of year. Our only complaint was the inconsistency of the food. We had lunch by the pool twice and it was very bad. The breakfasts were always well prepared though and we ate dinner in the Aqua dining room 3 times. On the first 2 occasions the food was very good but on the third night I reordered something I had previously and it was not remotely close in quality. Overall we did like what this hotel offered in a convenient location. Try to get a room away from the street side as it can be noisy late at night.”
On the positive side, this hotel is located in a nice area. The staff, particularly Tcheka, is friendly and helpful. But, check-in is at 4 PM and check-out at 10 AM. There is no breakfast available in the hotel. We found this hotel to be way overpriced for what it offers. We spent one night there only because it was next to our time-share where we could only check in at a certain date. I would recommend it only if you have no other choice.”

The hotel isn't very impressive, or aesthetically pleasing, but the location is good, employees are very nice, the food is wonderful, and the room was clean. It's very close to Atlantis shopping and casino. The only really bad thing about the hotel was its elevators. They are old, and super SUPER slow, which I'm sure some of that can be attributed to the salty air getting in the mechanisms, but you don't think its annoying until you're waiting for an elevator to get to the 11th floor for over 5 minutes. We're a young couple who didn't spend much time in the room, or at the hotel, so it didn't bother us much. We were out and about seeing the sights most of our stay, and only went to the hotel for the food and drinks we had already paid for in our all inclusive pakage. We had no real complaints about the hotel, and didn't have any bad experiences. We would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune for a hotel. Paradise Island has one of the best public beaches-Cabbage Beach. It is only a ten minute walk from the hotel. We enjoyed spending our time there versus the private "beach" at the hotel. They have massages on Cabbage Beach for half the price the hotel offers them for, and it was wonderful! The beach isn't crowded at all either, it is more crowded at the hotel "beach" Renting a scooter and going to bay street is so worth the money! The conch fritters at the public beach food stands are so much better than the touristy restaurants. Don't bother going to The Conch Fritter. It's expensive and over rated.”
A very nice hotel with spacious suites and pretty tropical grounds in a very safe area. Our room had a sitting room, kitchenette and spacious bedroom with a nice rear patio with loungers and a table/chairs. The grounds are very lush, with coconut palm trees, many plants, and two swimming pools (plus a third for villas only). Staff were friendly and helpful. Beach towels are provided at the hotel. The hotel is located on a quiet street, about a 10 minute walk from Marina Village and the Atlantis Hotel, 10 minute walk to spectacular Cabbage Beach, 10 minutes to a small mini-market and liquor store, and 25 minutes over the bridge to a larger (Super Value) grocery store. A couple of travel tips - there are two public access points to Cabbage Beach, one closer to Atlantis and the other further east beside the Paradise Island Beach Club; the latter has far fewer pushy locals trying to sell/rent things, and is further from the crowds (and incredibly beautiful). For fresh seafood, the Twin Brothers shack on Potters Cay just over the bridge into Nassau is incredibly good, reasonably priced and far closer to Paradise Island than the location at the Fish Fry (Arawak Cay, on the way to Cable Beach) - we went twice.”

really nice hotel. Very clean. We were on honeymoon and got a free upgrade. Bed was huge and cindy the receptionist put us 60 seconds from the beach. Staff were very nice. We ate twice in the black angus resteraunt which is part of the wyndham hotel and is attached to the sheraton. They have really good steak. We also had breakfast twice in the buffet at the wyndham which has a huge offering. Sheraton has then a beach bar which we ate at one kunch ans was good too. Its a bus ride into nassau which is one dollar fifty. There is straw markets and the usual expensive shops to goto. Gucci etc. The people in bahamas are very friendly, the most friendly foreigners we have ever met we would almost certainly say. We went on a boat trip which tend to be suited to snorkling which we dont do but they did stop at a deserted island for an hour and a half which was amazing. The sheraton beach is amazing, blue water and white sandy beaches. We visited atlantis, full of noisy kids, good buzz but glad we didnt stay there. Tip for the aquarium would be to visit it after six pm and you can wander around without having to pay. All in all the sheraton was Ten out of ten in our minds. Go now!”
Nice Hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Need to do a bit more maintenance since our shower curtain fell off first time we used the shower and faucet in the sink sprayed water (need to clean the screen in the diverter). Otherwise, great place to stay. Fun bar with really good entertainment.”
