A bit confusing that there are are two hotels in one. Fingerpost directional signs in the vicinity of the hotel would be good because the one on the canal side can easily be missed. A budget priced breakfast, max €8 would encourage more businesss from residents. A slightly off putting odour (sewer like) in the doorway area of the hotel on the Rembrandtplein side. This might be a temporary problem but we noticed it every time we used that doorway. Overall however, a good hotel, very convenient to the tram, flower market, restaurants etc and a hotel we would stay in again and recommend. If any free or bargain offers, please let us know !”
Very nice hotel with comfortable, well appointed rooms and great customer service. Located on a canal with rooms on the canal side having a nice view. Not a whole lot immediately near the hotel but about a 5 minute walk to a tram stop that provides access to most of the best stuff in Amsterdam. Well worth the stay.”
Very nice hotel. Our hotel room, as well as the whole hotel itself was in good quality condition. It had many coupons and information packets available. The air conditioner in our room did not work though. We were moved to another room, and that one ''worked'' but it still felt hot. Our room looked and felt very clean. Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel. I would stay here again. A downside though, was that it was slightly out of the way of the city. It claimed it was ''close to Anne Frank's House'' but it was not. The centrum of the city was quite a drive, about 15 minutes. I also wish that the breakfast was free for the price we were paying for the room. In the end though, I was very happy.”
Zwannenburg is a hotel good enough for spending the night away from the airport noise, it has free shuttle service (at least during my stay) from and to the airport. The surrounding neighborhood is a residential area with some food places, but not very interesting as for dedicating a whole evening to visit them.”
Personally, I am very satisfied staying at this hotel. When I first came, it is just a house. So I thought it will be alright since I just want to have a night over. But surprisingly when I enter the room rented for me, my first impression is its just not the ordinary room but its kinda 4 star hotel room. So its worth your money with the nice bed and big shower plus the fast internet surfing. Furthermore the landlady is also very nice and make you feel very comfortable.”
I chose this hotel because it was cheap and provided an easy way to get into Amsterdam so that I wouldn't have to pay to park my car. This Hotel provided this necessity to me while providing a comfortable place to stay.”
Stayed here many times if I have an early flight from Schiphol. Room as are always massive and clean. I skip dinner and breakfast and just head over to the services across the car park. Everything you want there chinese, steaks...La Place is my weapon of choice. There is nothing around the hotel to do or see unless you like the sound of jets!, however, I have rated it 4 purely because of the motorway services and all the food and service which is offered there. The courtesy bus is regular and large so no problems getting to and from the airport.”
Close enought to the airport for convenience, but far enough away to not be disturbed by the noise. A great hotel if all you need is a stopover in AMS, It's clean and comfortable and the restaurant is more than adequate. The airport shuttle service is free, but only runs once an hour and does not follow the schedule posted at the airport. This would be my only negative.”
Very happy with room size, cleanliness throughout, great breakfast buffet (did not take lunch or dinner here but looked reasonable with both a casual style & pricier restaurant as options), free internet (lobby) & wifi. This was an overnt stay only before departing AMS. Would definitely stay again, especially with very reasonable rates through hotels.com. Only negative was the airport transfer bus (it is a full size bus with only small signs saying Dorint)--not hearing any call out for the transfer...1st standing at the correct location at the airport, the bus was a distance further on (we found out later), did not see or hear anything at scheduled dept time, so had to wait an additional half hour; then on pickup at hotel, other tour buses were in front, so bus was not visible & driver did not pop head into lobby area to call out "airport shuttle departing", so had to wait an extra half hour then also. You cannot wait outside because it is packed with smokers (we have allergies)--we think smokers should be designated another area away from the doors!!”
The Hotel is truly linked to the airport. There are only 2 hotel that does so, the Sheraton & the Hilton for Schiphol AMS Airport. Sheraton is still nearer, The Hilton is about 7 mins walk through a sheltered elevated pleasant walkway. The hotel is modern, new, clean & frontdesk folks were polite & easily found hotels.com reservations. I had a good time staying there. Didn't have to dine in hotel for I could simply walk to the airport supermarket to purchase cheeper food & drinks to save on my Euros. Overall I would stay there again as it's 50 Euros or so cheaper compared to Sheraton. However, my only gripe was the Wifi wasn't complimentary. Had to update to a business pkg wherein I did not take it. I rate this hotel 4/5 stars.”
You cannot beat the direct access to airport. Airport carts are available for grabs. Service is of a 2 star hotel. Restaurant is delicious but too expensive are overly crowded. Friendly but not professional.”
