Good, clean, comfortable hotel in Vienna to stay for both business and pleasure. Close to the Metro underground network for ease of mobility. Hotel staff is very friendly, and cooperative. Rooms are clean and have basic amenities. Price may be little too high this time, but over all its good value for the money. I'll definitely will stay again whenever my plans bring me to Vienna again for business. This was already my second stay here in this hotel.”
It was a wonderful experience being a guest to Danube Hilton in Vienna , very centralized , only ten minutes to city center , metro station was very near which commute you back and forth to the hotel in no time.”
The first room we were given (2nd floor) was very shabby and outdated, and even the tv recption was poor. To top it off, in 38 degree heat there was no air-conditioning, and the windows opened onto a noisy street. To be fair when I complained, we were upgraded to a refurbished room which was excellent; Note that WiFi is only available from the lobby unless you can work out their strqnge system of cables and keyboards. The restaurant is excellent.”
Hotel was very close to the airport and right near bus stops for 2 main bus lines. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The room was small, but very interesting without right-angle walls. Nice to not be in a boring box of a hotel room. The price was very low. I would highly recommend.”
Booked hotel cause they claimed parking was available, when I checked in they had no spots available and staff member didnt know where was a safe/legal place to park nearby. Luckily it was the weekend, still had to park 2 blocks away. About a 15 minute walk from the centrAl area. Room clean but small. No internet available.”
Comfortable hotel in the midst of a pedestrian district. Great spacious room, great quiet neighbourhood and great service provided by the staff including a fantastic served breakfast. Arrived after the office closed (at 6pm) but keys and thorough entry instructions were left for me. Would certainly choose to stay here again and recommend it to others.”
We loved the super breakfast buffet which was amazing with fresh fruit and food cooked to order. The room was spacious with 2 twin beds and an extra single bed for our daughter. The hotel is from the 1970s and does look dated in the lobby and bathrooms. It was central and a 5 minute walk had you in the centre of all the action. The parking was underneath the hotel and at a decent rate. You had to pay for internet access however which was a pity. Overall a nice stay. Not too bad a price if you get the hilton 40%sale offer too!”
The name says it all. It´s a very romantic hotel, the room was great. The relax area with sauna perfect. The restaurant was top notch and so was the breakfast. I recommend it for both families and as a romantic get away. Walking distance to the old city...”
We only had a short stay in Innsbruck, but this was THE place to be! It was especially convenient for us traveling via train, as it sits right across from the train station! It is only a short stroll to the old city. Nice place!!”
This is the type of hotel that you can relax in and that you look forward to coming back to after a hard day's walking. The balcony gives you extra breathing space in the room and thus makes the room a little home. There were no tea/coffee making facilities which was just as well or we or we might have stayed too long in the bedroom. The wellness centre was something special and you could luxuriate there for hours. The staff were very helpful. We stayed bed and breakfast only while most people were half board. If you wanted dinner just having the main course caused problems as a la carte was off the menu. It is not a hotel for children which suited us as a couple in our fifties. If you are looking for a hotel with action this hotel is not for you! The bar was always empty and there just wasn't anyone around. However downtown was only minutes walking distance.”
Stayed 5 days at Schloss Lebenberger. It is a great place. The dinners are fantastic (we had half board). 6 courses meals. Very very good. The breakfast is world class. I have stayed in many 5-star hotels and this qualifies. The spa is also very good. The only drawback is that it is 5 minutes drive from the center, but they are offering a free shuttle. However, it ends 6pm. It cost you 10 euro to get into the city with a taxi. During the 5 day stay we stayed at the hotel, which has a nice bar. You cant go wrong with this hotel.”
stayed here for a week while skiing. right beside the train station and bus station which was really handy for getting to the hotel (train from Munich) and getting the ringbus (free bus services) to the 2 main ski gondola's in kitzbuhel. Hotel had a very handy ski/boot store in basement with easy access. (boot holders were heater). Room was lovely and cosy. Bar was nice, very quiet mostly though Austrians still tend to smoke in bars there which isn't great. Good breakfast buffet every morning and service was great. Only had dinner in the hotel once during the week and that was a buffet but I think the other days the food and atmosphere was better. Bit of a walk from main town (10mins or so) but convenient to get to and always taxi's on hand.”
