The Hotel was OK for that price, but it didn't feel like a 4* hotel, e.g. the bathrobe and slippers had to be paid extra. The bedding seems only to be changed, if asked for. Our first room looked very used and hat mould on the ceiling. They gave us another room which was better and warmer (with only little mould in the bath). However the staff is great, very helpflul and stays friendly. All the problems were solved within minutes. The staff organizes everything you need very fast and professionally. The taxi they call is for the normal price (it can differ up to 500% in Vilnius). The breakfest is good, there are cold and warm dishes. The location of the hotel is great. You save a lot of time and money (for the taxi), for everything you must see in Vilnius is near by. All in all if there is something wrong with your room, just dial 9 for the reception and everything will be done. Unfortunately one does not always have time to call the reception every 10 minutes especially if you stay only one night. Allthough it's not perfect, I recommend this hotel for the price we got.”
Booked in advance (through Hotels.com) I managed to get a suite with a view for a very reasonable price: the bed was comfortable, the bath large, nice balcony. My only reservation was the quality of the breakfast. I support most 4-star hotels feel it's obligatory to do an English cooked breakfast but frankly they'd do better to concentrate on local food rather than try and offer a poor imitation. But there were plenty of other options available in the continental style that were all good enough. The staff were all unfailingly helpful and polite. This is a well run hotel that gives very good value.”
We were a party of eight and found the Grata to be a nice clean hotel with good rooms and a good continental breakfast. The only down side was the location which was in a business area, but aside from this our overall experience was positive.”
I really appreciated Park Inn hotel in Kaunas. Room facilities and breakfast were very satisfactory. Hotel clerks were very kind as well. The location was also good since we usually took walking tours to old town, it takes only 20 to 30 min on foot. Kaunas city was not quite exciting for a family at that time (July) but my family could take enough rest at the hotel. I really recommand this hotel if you are willing to visit Kaunas.”
Enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The staff were excellent especially at the reception. They were helpful, courteous and pleasant. Facilities were fine but not elaborate. The location 3km out of town and with no facilities nearby is a drawback. Their is a frequent bus directly to town from outside the hotel and there is a huge shopping centre 10 mins walk away.”
I had a short stay before an early morning flight. The staff were very helpful and arranged my early morning taxi transfer and let me print out my boarding pass. I had a few beer in the bar in the evening. In the morning I got a generous take away breakfast. No stress, no hassle. Great.”
