The Hotel was OK for that price, but it didn't feel like a 4* hotel, e.g. the bathrobe and slippers had to be paid extra. The bedding seems only to be changed, if asked for. Our first room looked very used and hat mould on the ceiling. They gave us another room which was better and warmer (with only little mould in the bath). However the staff is great, very helpflul and stays friendly. All the problems were solved within minutes. The staff organizes everything you need very fast and professionally. The taxi they call is for the normal price (it can differ up to 500% in Vilnius). The breakfest is good, there are cold and warm dishes. The location of the hotel is great. You save a lot of time and money (for the taxi), for everything you must see in Vilnius is near by. All in all if there is something wrong with your room, just dial 9 for the reception and everything will be done. Unfortunately one does not always have time to call the reception every 10 minutes especially if you stay only one night. Allthough it's not perfect, I recommend this hotel for the price we got.”
We booked online, then upgraded to business class. The little extras, like breakfast room service included, made this a very pleasant stay. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Tired from a full day, we had dinner in the restaurant and found there to be superbly prepared food in a pleasant atmosphere. The location is super, with many nearby stores and restaurants. It's within walking distance of Old Town and other sites worth seeing. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Next time we travel we'll look for a Radisson.”
I could recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vilnius avoiding to spend a lot of money and still get a good quality The breakfasts were nice and tasty with just enough of dishes to choose from. The only disadvantage is that the city centre is at the lowest point close to the river Neris, and Grata is on one of the highest hills, which means that you have a steep descent if you had been to to the centre and did not use the trolley buses.”
It's close to Acropolis shopping mall, but around 1,5km away from the old town. Depending on weather, it's a nice walk through the city, or not. The room was big, but the layout of the "business friendly room" isn't very useful if going as a couple. Still good though, only thing a bit noisy was the air conditioning, as in every hotel basically. Good breakfast, friendly staff.”
Bathroom and room was very clean and comfortable. Reasonable rates for the quality. Breakfast had variety and was good, ate plenty. The hotel location is pretty good and close to tourist sites in center of city. Parking was free but limited so might be a problem if hotel was full.”
Enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The staff were excellent especially at the reception. They were helpful, courteous and pleasant. Facilities were fine but not elaborate. The location 3km out of town and with no facilities nearby is a drawback. Their is a frequent bus directly to town from outside the hotel and there is a huge shopping centre 10 mins walk away.”
This is ideal for those of you who come by car and enjoy free parking, or dont mind being out of town to have a nice family run place, which is quiet, clean, friendly and very helpful. The neighbourhood is residential, the remnants of Soviet housing, but dont be put off by it. The guest house was lovely, with great rooms, and super helpful and friendly staff.”
I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 days and we loved it! The restaurant's terrace is amazing, so cosy and just keeps you there! We travelled in late October, so it was cold and windy outside, but we enjoyed our time in that terrace with huge windows which gives you a feeling to be outside, so really beautiful! The staff are great, very friendly and discreet, but very efficient yet! The included breakfast is good with various things every day. There is a big parking place as well which is very handy. So, people, come and stay here, it is nice!”
